“Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

At noon everyone stops, stands, and they play the National Anthem. They brought free dessert to our table and thanked us for our service when they noticied we're firefighters. The best experience!“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Carnegie wine bar. We love the place. It was my 5th time there. We decided to try and get a seat at the bar on a very busy Sat night. When We walked in, there were 2 seats open. Couldn’t have gotten luckier. Meal was amazing! My favorite dish is the whipped ricotta with charred sour dough bread. I get it every time I’ve gone. The wine selections are immense. Service impeccable. But this time we had an over the top experience. Mike, the owner/host, asked us if we’re going to Mama Mia that night. We said no, but were thinking of getting last minute tickets because we were celebrating our 1st Anniversary. Mike gave us 2 tickets for that night’s show. We were so surprised by the act of kindness. Couldn’t have been more excited. When we got to the auditorium, our seats were in 6th row! What an awesome Anniversary we had. Thank you to Carnegie cellars wine bar and kitchen., we are definitely going to have to pay it forward!“

“The most amazing dessert spot I’ve stumbled across. They have SO many options. I normally get the Dubai Strawberry cup (TO DIE FOR, ITS SO GOOD) and the best chocolate shake ever that they make with real Hershey ice cream🤤 then a piece of carrot cake to go. My husband gets the Biscoff milkshake, red velvet cake cup, and a strawberry banana smoothie to go.“

“We held our reception at the Fairport Brewing Company, and there's nowhere else we would have rather chosen! Kristen and Tim took excellent care of us. They let us visit a few times before the wedding to figure out set up and how we wanted to decorate, and they were open to any ideas we had. We served their kombucha as our wedding favors, which was a hit with our guests! Everyone raved about the venue and how beautiful it looked, and the Wilke Way beer was the perfect addition to the night.“

“Small cafe tucked in on Monroe Street, my first visit, personally I only go for hot tea, but today I went for hot sweet, boiled, frothy milk, dusted with cocoa, and some sugar gummy like square in a tooth pick, on the side. I was biting this sugar cube, in between my sips of milk. This cube had flavor of rose water and kewra, a familiar taste for me, it's used for flavor in sweet things in India. It was fun. I loved the place, quite, simple, place.“

“I have been to La Bola a few times for lunch and love their sandwiches on foccacia. Recently I went to a holiday party there and it was out of this world! What a cool place to have an event! They put out several different spreads to graze on, one was an eggplant and fig foccacia- fantastic. I also really enjoyed the craft cocktail options they had for the event which were winter themed. I will most definitely be back for lunch (or dinner) and I hope to get to go for an event there again.“

“We came here to watch the Eagles game as it was recommended as a sports bar. Well were we surprised with the whole experience that was above just your average sports bar.

To start Frank the bartender was amazing. Being from the Philly area and coming to Bills country he was very accommodating trying to get the eagles game on tvs we could see. Then I asked which dish he would recommend and he ran into the kitchen to see exactly how fresh the pot roast was and recommended that. It was amazing. He was also an amazing person considering it was my 40th birthday trip and made it that much better.

Will be back next time we visit the area. Trust me just get the pot roast cause it's better than your mom's best!!“

“My girlfriends and I love going to Original Steve's Diner in Victor. The restaurant has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell the staff really loves their jobs and they give excellent attention and service to patrons. The owner John and his wife Elizabeth have truly mastered the art of upscale diner cuisine. Although many people love the ultra delicious pancakes, I was ecstatic when they added crepes. The cheesecake crepes with berries paired with a side of bacon are the perfect pairing of sweet and savory. I will definitely be a regular customer.“

We tried shrimp tom yum soup, papaya salad, fresh and fried spring rolls, brisket pho, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was fantastic. This may be the best pho that we’ve tried in Rochester! Service was great as well.“

I recently went to celebrate my friends birthday and the food was super delicious and the server Cham was very nice and she was so kind and sweet to me and my friends! She even came to our table to celebrate my friend's birthday and singing along with us, it created a memory my friend would never forget, and my friend was truly grateful afterwards! “Ok so the staff was great and the interior was clean and orderly. The issue is have is solely with the overwhelming flavor of banana in every single smoothie. All 3 of the ones we ordered had the same intensity of banana. None of the smoothies names would indicate a banana forward flavor other than the SB. Disappointing at the price point“

“Fun place to have delicious drinks and food. Swiftwater offers a great atmosphere, tasty drinks and food. We got the Irish nachos and Asian wings, everything had an incredible flavor. The wings were cooked perfectly, they were crispy but also juicy. Great place to come and hang out.“
