Myself & my husband were visiting the region and happened upon Vesuvios by accident. What a beautiful restaurant with even more beautiful food. The atmostphere was great, complimented by the classic crooners soundtrack throughout the room. Our FOH server was James who was very professional and knowledgeable about the food he was serving. Came last year when in area, did not disappoint. Great personable service, menu, specials, wine list (including excellent house wines by the glass). Reasonable prices although i should have been told that the daily special i had (osso buco risotto) would be considerably more than almost everything else on the menu. Will come back every time
I highly recommend this place. Every dish my friends and I had was finger-licking good. From the escargot, meat ravioli, and risotto to the bowtie pasta, baby back ribs, chicken parm, and the delicious shots the bartender made for us, everything was amazing. The outside may look a bit outdated, but don't let that deceive you—the inside is beautiful. The server, bartender, and Chef Joni were all fantastic. We even asked the server to call the chef out so we could thank him personally.
