“Myself & my husband were visiting the region and happened upon Vesuvios by accident. What a beautiful restaurant with even more beautiful food. The atmostphere was great, complimented by the classic crooners soundtrack throughout the room. Our FOH server was James who was very professional and knowledgeable about the food he was serving. However, the true gem of this restaurant is Head Chef Johnnie, who is the American Dream personified. His passion for the food that he is making is unparalleled. James was very right when he said that each dish Johnnie serves has his added TLC. We started off with the appetiser special of broccolini & sausage. The flavour balance was incredible and yes we licked the plate clean. But the true highlight of the night were the meat raviolios - OMG. The best I have ever had in my life, and that is no exaggeration. To think that Johnnie makes these by hand, complimented by a stunning meat sauce on top. Thank you Vesuvios; please God our travels brings us your way once more.“
