I was hoping that upon finding this Mom & Pop Sweet Shop would bring back fond memories. I discovered overpriced so-so food and bad service (even though the place wasn't crowded.) The expensive chocolate egg cream was pretty good though, as well it should be considering the cost! Anyhoo, I won't be back.
***** (Five Star) Review - The hubby and I love the Hicksville Sweet Shop! It is such a warm and welcoming restaurant/ice cream shop – were everyone knows your name! We reserved a table for Valentines Day and had a wonderful meal consisting of crab cakes, fried shrimp, French fries, vegetables and, for dessert, fresh homemade strawberry shortcake – reservations are rarely needed! Homemade ice cream and chocolates are also delicious!
