“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

John, the bartender, makes excellent cocktails—many with fun names like Silence of the Lambrusco. He puts a lot of care into his craft, from house-infused ingredients to thoughtful presentation. He also always keeps you hydrated with their house water, which I truly appreciate.

Happy hour is a great deal and is available at the bar only, Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00–7:00 pm, and all night on Mondays. We love ordering the wood-fired Margherita pizza and fried chicken wings for $12.36, along with their house margarita at $10.30—delicious and affordable.

When we do get a table, the service is always spot on.

My daughter Victoria and I stopped by this Olive Garden at 1246 Old Country Road, and we had a wonderful experience. Our server, Ariana, was excellent—very attentive, friendly, and professional. The manager, Margarita, was also amazing and made sure everything was perfect.

The chicken bacon ranch is the best i have ever had. I would have given this place 5 stars if they made the Buffalo chicken and bbq chicken slices like they do the chicken bacon ranch. Unfortunately, those are usually my go to slices but for some reason they take a very different approach than they do the chicken bacon ranch and it definitely doesn't work. “From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“I stopped by “That No Good Burger Joint” for lunch yesterday and extremely surprised at the customer service and the menu filled with options. I ordered a triple smash cheeseburger with the fries and washed it all down with 2 flat tires. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friend and family and would plan to go back soon. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were just right. The server was extremely attentive and made sure my and my cousin were well taken care. I would give this restaurant a 10/10 no question.“
