“This spot is a neighborhood GEM. I hope the people living here know this. Best Sushi and sashimi for miles around. Solid everytime. The fish is kept well and served well. The whole family works here and they are so nice and friendly. The dad who is the sushi chef has one of the fastest hands around. He just cranks the orders out like butter. The store has about 6 tables but they are never packed. But while I dine in the takeout orders are endless. This man can handle it all and still can chat with you.I wish I lived nearby.... “We used Mama Soup catering for my little ones drive by birthday. An employee came and set up the soup kettles and sandwiches along with plasticware and to go packages. He was professional, quick, covid safe and so very nice. Not only did everything look great, smell amazing and taste delicious, it was the perfect set up for those who drove by and departed as well as for those who stayed. My family and friends couldn’t rave enough about the food. Those who stayed had seconds and even took leftovers home. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we had. I cannot wait to use Mama Soup again or just stop by for some wholesome goodness! Thank you for making my sons day so special.“

“This is a very nice place with one clean restroom inside for customers. There is ample seating as well as complimentary water. The mobile orders are about 10 minutes until completion. There's usually no line to order. My only complaint is they are very cheap on how much they give you. They don't fill up the bowl and they give you very little chicken in the salads. That is the reason why it's not 5 stars.“

“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. “We recently ordered from Exotic Kreations for a 60 person bbq/party. We ordered their Pasta Salad and Fruit Salad for the party and I ordered a small size of their Shrimp and Crab Salad and their Chicken Salad for my family.
Everything was amazing! Hands down, All of the salads were the best we have ever had. These are not your regular salads you buy at a food store. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

“This sushi spot exceeded all expectations. The platter was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. Every roll was delicious—from the tuna and salmon to the mango-topped rolls and tamago. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite.

What makes it even better is that it’s kosher, which is such a huge plus. Perfect balance of flavors, generous portions, and everything was fresh and satisfying.

“My wife and I have ordered from Previti for several years now thru Door Dash. the food has always been excellent. The other day I had a call from Previti. It was the owner, Joe. He told me that my mother had wandered in after having her car bumper come completely loose on Marcus Ave. She had no phone, and was shaken up by the whole ordeal. Joe called me for her, and gave her a cup of hot tea. I went over, picked her up and got her home. Later my wife and I returned to pick up her car. We decided to eat dinner there and take advantage of the pasta night specials. The lasagna and the rigatoni with meat sauce were both excellent. “I live down the block so I'm happy this is a quality pizza place. Their regular, square vodka and chicken bacon ranch slices are great and you get good value for your dollar. The chicken bacon ranch is the best i have ever had. I would have given this place 5 stars if they made the Buffalo chicken and bbq chicken slices like they do the chicken bacon ranch. Unfortunately, those are usually my go to slices but for some reason they take a very different approach than they do the chicken bacon ranch and it definitely doesn't work. I recommend giving this place a try especially if you live in the neighborhood.“

We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“
