“Great pizza“

“As a former executive chef, and hospitality professional I’ve learned to manage expectations in fast casual restaurants. Well, to my surprise, Burger Village exceeded all expectations . Arriving for a movie 90 minutes early gave us time to find a place to eat. I had reviewed the few options and Burger Villages natural menu seemed like a great choice. We were greeted (by one of the owners) and promptly met with a smiling server. Drinks, yes. Natural coke, iced tea. Then dinner. One turkey burger with sweet potato fries and one specialty burger with their house sauce and my favorite waffle fries. Both arrived hot and the burger juicy. Both cooked exactly as requested. My medium rare was perfect. Unfortunately, I didn’t anticipate the “heat” or spice of the sauce. Pria, the owner asked if everything was okay. This was a good sign. I mentioned the heat and she insisted on remaking the burger without the sauce asap. She said - “I want you to have a great experience “ wow - in all my years of coaching hospitality professionals I rarely saw this level of care and concern flow so organically. Bravo - we ate, we paid, we promised to come back. A perfect example of owners who care, a team to responded to a challenge and a process at work to overcome challenges. 10 out of 10. “The food is the same as any other chick fil a but the staff at this location is what makes it great. Every time I have come with my kids the staff is very patient. On a few occasions they have even given my kids stuff cows ! Thanks for your great customer service.“

“I've been here on two Occasions had several different appetizers, main course and dessert both times. I have to say it is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants. Coffee is brewed fresh pound request, food is prepared carefully and with dedication. Presentation is always beautiful and taste is amazing. Price is really good for what you eat. Absolutely love this place. If my kids ate anything here I would probably become a weekly customer, unfortunately they don't so I have to keep it for the few times I go out without them I most definitely recommend this place.“

“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“I ordered the Crispy Chicken Poblano Salad, and it’s my favorite menu item by far! Everything was incredibly fresh, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted high quality, and every bite was satisfying.

The interior of the restaurant was modern and neat, but the music played was modern day versions of songs from the 60s to the 90s, which detracted from the atmosphere of the restaurant. I was expecting something a bit more suggestive of Thai culture.

The parking lot is behind the restaurant. Although there is a back door, it was blocked by a bucket and mop. We had to walk around to the front of the building to enter. If there had been an emergency the bucket and mop would have been a hazard for people needing to exit out the back door.“

“Best hamburger hotdog place that serves great beer near Hosfstra University. Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

“We recently ordered from Exotic Kreations for a 60 person bbq/party. We ordered their Pasta Salad and Fruit Salad for the party and I ordered a small size of their Shrimp and Crab Salad and their Chicken Salad for my family.
Everything was amazing! Hands down, All of the salads were the best we have ever had. These are not your regular salads you buy at a food store. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“I live down the block so I'm happy this is a quality pizza place. Their regular, square vodka and chicken bacon ranch slices are great and you get good value for your dollar. The chicken bacon ranch is the best i have ever had. I would have given this place 5 stars if they made the Buffalo chicken and bbq chicken slices like they do the chicken bacon ranch. Unfortunately, those are usually my go to slices but for some reason they take a very different approach than they do the chicken bacon ranch and it definitely doesn't work. I recommend giving this place a try especially if you live in the neighborhood.“

“This spot is a neighborhood GEM. I hope the people living here know this. Best Sushi and sashimi for miles around. Solid everytime. The fish is kept well and served well. The whole family works here and they are so nice and friendly. The dad who is the sushi chef has one of the fastest hands around. He just cranks the orders out like butter. The store has about 6 tables but they are never packed. But while I dine in the takeout orders are endless. This man can handle it all and still can chat with you.I wish I lived nearby....
