We are new to the area and have been trying different eateries. We finally went to the Dinner Plate and I can not say enough about this place. Our new favorite and so close to home! The owner, George who also served us was gracious and welcoming. The food is a culinary masterpiece as directed by the owner who is a master chef! First time visit, but not my last! I had the schnitzel and it was excellent! My girlfriend had chicken parmesan. She had potatoes au gratin instead of the pasta, she really enjoyed it! Our salads were beautiful and delicious! The garlic knots were very good too!
The Dinner Plate is an absolute gem in Stamford! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The food is outstanding — hearty portions, full of flavor, and made with care. I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo, and it was delicious — rich, creamy, and more than enough to share.
