Savona's Trattoria & Bar - Hudson

Great food but the server took 15 minutes to come over and she paid very little attention to us. The restaurant was winding down and we were one of the last tables, a table of 4, and saw the server offering to box up meals, going over to multiple tables but kept walking past us and didn't offer us the same level of service. She did not come over and ask us how the food was or offer refills on drinks or water. We are aware of how busy people can be but it was honestly just very unexpected. The food runner with the black hat made our night despite the service!

Good food! But like nothing crazy u know?

I came here on a Saturday for dinner and we were seated right away. I ordered Nonna’s spaghetti meatballs with sausage for entree, fried mozzarella for appetizer, and a mocktail drink. The large portions for both the entree and appetizer shocked me and left me feeling super full and satisfied.

My friends and I were in the Hudson area and found Savona's Trattoria. We were quite hungry, and were delighted to find great service and delicious food at Savona's. I had a chicken dish that was plentiful and tasty. I took half home and shared it with my husband, who is now eager to try out a meal of his own! My friends had a chicken salad and chicken parm sandwich, which were both raved about. We were also served soft bread which was inhaled very quickly as it just hit the spot! If you're near Hudson, NY, head for Savona's. You won't be disappointed!

Lucky enough to live within take out distance making calamari an option. Be sure to order it with peppers and olives.

Had a great time the first time but I went again and had to leave. We waited 20+ minutes and no one came to take our order. Don't go without a reservation.

Made a road trip to visit this quaint town. Stopped in for dinner after strolling around all day. The blue point dollar oysters were cold sweet and delicious. The stuffed zucchini flowers were equally good. For the mains we both had eggplant one rollatini and one parmesan both were fantastic. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, would highly recommend!!

Although the ambiance and service was very good, the food left alot to be desired. The clams in wine sauce was too salty to enjoy and the shrimp scampi was terrible.
Second time we were disappointed. Won't be going back anytime soon.
