Simply enough - the food here is great. On a deeper level, this restaurant is very special, and you can sense the lore behind every dish and wine selection. We were lucky enough to have one of the owners as a server, and they told us the (hilarious! incredible! and heartwarming) stories behind each thing we ordered, from the shrimp cocktail to the burger to the chilled red wine. I am still thinking about the special cavatelli with charred asparagus and frizzled onions! I wish...
I had the pleasure of dining at sonder last night and it far exceeded my already high expectations. The food (bread and butter worthy of writing home about, tasty salad with unique flavors and perfect temperature/crispiness, perfectly cooked burger and delicious organic wine), the service (Mikayla made us feel like we were the only ones there), and the atmosphere/vibe (rustic yet classy, formal yet comfortable) makes for a perfect dining experience.

The menu is short, so come early if you want the whole selection. By 8pm more than 1/2 the menu was gone.
We liked the food but more than 1/2 would have ordered items which were no longer available.
