Extremely Disappointing Experience
I had a very disappointing experience at Swoon Kitchenbar in Hudson. After consulting their online menu, I was excited to try several items — but when I arrived, one after another was unavailable. The watermelon tomato salad was “out of season,” the burrata was sold out, and the corn risotto was also unavailable. Our adult children, from Brooklyn and upstate, and I, were excited to plan a surprise birthday luncheon for their Dad and my husband. The atmosphere was nice enough, and our server, Cat, was outstanding! The drinks were nice but they ran out of a beer we ordered by 1:30 pm on Saturday. My husband and I enjoyed everything from start to finish at Swoon. The escargot and oysters we shared were outstanding and our entrees of roasted salmon and skirt steak were delicious as well. Apple cake for dessert topped off this amazing meal. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed-perfect for an impromptu date night-we can’t wait to come back!
