The Maker Lounge offers an amazing atmosphere with old-school vibes and incredible decor, featuring beautiful wood panels, vintage fixtures, and comfortable furniture. Located in the back of The Maker cafe, it also has a separate entrance and remains open even when the cafe is closed. The lounge nails the Speakeasy vibe with a heavy brown door, gas-lit sign, and an ambiance that screams prohibition. The dark, relaxed setting is perfect for unwinding after a day of shopping in Hudson. The drinks are a highlight, with creative cocktails like the "Old Man and the Sea" and others that are well-crafted and Instagram-worthy. One guest enjoyed a low ABV drink called Searching for Time, which was light, citrusy, and bubbly, changing their mind about vermouth. The Dulce Far Niente was smooth and sweet without being too overpowering. The food includes delicious dishes like the chicken milanese, and the fries, especially with truffle, are highly praised. Service is friendly and attentive, with bartenders who make craft cocktails that are both beautiful and flavorful. The overall vibe is classy, elegant, yet warm and inviting.
