“This afternoon my Wife and I were finished working in Tannersville and decided on Chinese Lunch/supper before we headed home. So we went to the Peking in Hunter and glad we did. We had 2 egg rolls,an order of steamed dumplings and a smaller order of spare ribs. Our main dish was a Szachawon ToFu dish. Wow, what a great surprise by how great everything was. I have to give it a "10 Chopsticks Up".“

“My girlfriend & I went for Breakfast-Lunch on Saturday. The staff were very friendly & helpful. My Gf ordered the Monte Cristo French Toast. She said it was the best French Toast she ever had. I ordered an omelette with 3 eggs, Avocado, Roast Beef, American. & Cheddar Cheese. My omelet was unbelievable. The waiter we had Adam was very attentive. I’d highly recommend this place to eat“

“I googled restaurants offering take out in this area while visiting a friend in Haines Falls. The roasted chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and multi color carrots were all cooked perfectly with great attention paid to the quality of the food and its presentation. The apple crisp dessert was an amazing treat, too. It was well worth the upscale casual pricing. Very friendly staff inside the establishment. “Dont let the name mislead you. They do serve diner food but it is, imo, the best diner food I have ever had. I prepare my own meals. I dont like to go to restaurants because most dont prepare food I am satisfied with, taste or freshnessof ingredients. This place sets the bar higher for the other local restaurants. The food is very good, and Ive tried almost everything. The prices are reasonable. This is my favorite place to eat beside my own cooking. The owners, the staff all very nice people. Makes me feel like Im visiting family not a diner“

“What a fantastic restaurant. I can honestly say this is the best restaurant that I have ever eaten, in the Catskills. The menu had many seafood options, which I have to admit made me nervous. The tuna was off the wall Great! The table next to us had oysters which looked great. Our other dish was chicken which was cooked perfectly and very large. And I can’t forget to mention the cocktails. Great service with great service.“

“After being talked out of sitting outside we were then talked out of another table in the dining room only to be seated next to the napkin station. We ordered drinks and told the bread was coming. After 3 requests the bread came with the entrees rather than with the appetizers we ordered. The food was very good and one round of our drinks were good the second round were not. When spending $275 for a dinner for 2, I think it's fair to expect excellent service to compliment the menu and create an elevated experience all around.“

“We were going somewhere else until we saw the movement through the window, we decided to stop and to our surprise, live music started, by a phenomenal duo of women. The fast food, despite the limited menu after 8 am, was enough for us. We had the best wine of the trip, the Mark West Pinot noir, from California, I highly recommend it.
