Stopped in when driving around looking for a place to eat… Nice place and good food
While I had been recommended to visit Ella's Pizza for a long time, the overall experience was just okay and definitely not family-friendly. The vibe is perfect for a young adult crowd, but the service was poor, and the food fell short, especially for the kids, who did not like their pasta and personal pizza. The thin-crust pizza was decent, though you will need to order more than one to full satisfy a group, and the cocktails were the best part. The arancini were disappointing...read full review
The chicken and shrimp pasta plates were great. Overall, the food was delicious & right next to paramount. Ask for discount, if you have tickets. Awesome tasting deserts. The service was good.

Ella's is a convenient dining spot right next to the Paramount Theater, making it a great choice for a show. The food is delicious, with tasty chicken and shrimp pasta plates, a recommended Cacio e Pepe, and awesome tasting desserts. The California style pizza was tasty, and the calamari was delish. However, the pizza can be problematic: one pizza had so much flour caked in it that it was inedible, and a gluten-free pizza was burnt. Service is mixed; some found it good and friendly, while others experienced being rushed or felt the restaurant was short-staffed and confused. On a busy night like NYE, there was a long wait for a reservation and food. Overall, it is a convenient option, but avoid the pizza and pick a less busy night, especially if attending a show at the Paramount.
