This place has GREAT FISH -- it is always so fresh, from the clams to the salmon to the bass to the scallops... Gus, the owner, is the nicest person -- and really knowledgeable about how to cook each kind of fish, if you have a question. If you want something specific, call him a few days in advance, and he'll almost definitely get it for you. All the soups here are amazing -- you will not find a lobster bisque with more lobster in it, anywhere! The clam chowder and cajun...
I saw a couple negative reviews. All I know is that I've been going to Fort Hill Seafood for over a decade. When I go I always get clams on the half shell, flounder, salmon and from time to time lobster. It's always fresh, prices are reasonable and most importantly I've found Gus has always gone the extra mile to make sure I walk away a happy customer.
I love that everything they have is nice and fresh,and their soups are home made. Love the lobster bisque!!! Makes me appreciate these little businesses. Fresh. Great tasting,and the staff are more than willing to work with you. :D
