Given that our dinner was at a premier culinary school my lamb was very disappointing. I specifically told our server that I wanted it medium rare but he stated that the could only serve it medium which I agreed to. When it came out it was more than well done and dry. Even the server recognized this. I sent it back. We raise lamb and would hope it is prepared in a way that consumers enjoy this an alternative to other meat. The key is a proper preparation. If someone had not had lamb before, they would probably not order it again if this is the dish they were presented.

We were a small group celebrating a family member's birthday and we couldn't have been happier with the food and service. We were seated right at our scheduled time and the waitstaff was attentive, eager to explain the food and drinks on the menu. Everything was distinct and delicious. Thank you so much for making an enjoyable memory for me and my family.

We tried the Gumbo at our table, suggested by our servers who developed the recipe, and it was incredible! Kudos to them for that, and for helping us to have an amazing evening with friends in such a lovely, attentive restaurant. We will be back again and again, we love the Culinary restaurants, and supporting the students!

Phenomenal lunch at American Bounty...Crab Cakes for app, Lobster Risotto & the Salmon Entree for me, & delicious Chocolate Mousse & the Banana Pudding with Caramelized Bananas for me. Fantastic! I have been going to the CIA restaurants for over four decades & will continue forever. Thank you, Kim Miller

29.99 for 3 course meal is a great deal! Place was packed on a Wed afternoon. Lucky to get a reservation last minute. All was excellent except the mac and cheese was dry. Portions were surprisingly good. Deal only Jan - April . Recommend. They do add 20% on the bill for the servers. So 60.00 turned into 75.00 ( people)

Wonderful experience! The food was excellent. I'm a bit fussy about the way lamb is prepared and it was perfect. The desserts were not only tasty but beautiful as well. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Altogether a great birthday experience!

Our gift voucher had got lost but the front of house team was extremely helpful and found our gift balance online. We had a memorable meal in every way. Three delicious courses for $29 a person! Highly recommended.

Our CIA student server , Vince , was very attentive , pleasant and patient . However when I said so to the Floor manager on 3/27/2024, she just shook her head from side to side and made a face and it was obvious she didn't share our view , Someone should tell her that that's unprofessional and whether she agrees with the customer or not tosmile and accept the compliment . on behalf of the CIA . Vince made our anniversary very special. We came from Nassau county to enjoy the day which we did otherwise !

Very friendly and attentive service. Excellent food. Pleasant atmosphere but not stuffy. They have a Tuesday to Thursday off season Prix Fixe special of 3 courses for $50 which is a good value for the quality of the food. They made a delicious chocolate entremets cake for our special occasion.

The venue was very nice. Our server was attentive although forgot one of our coffees. Our appetizers and desserts were very good. My companions lobster risotto was very good. My braised short ribs tasted a bit burnt.

I love to cook, especially healthy, clean food, and this makes it challenging to eat out. But American bounty did not disappoint. Probably the best meal I have ever eaten. Nothing was short of amazing. I had the Beet Juice Cocktail with Cardamom. I was a little nervous, but it was so good. Butter Buns were given as a starter and it was the best bread I've tasted. Appetizers - Lamb meatballs and Butternut Squash soup, which I make myself, but this exceeded my expectations by far! Main Course - Duck and Lamb. The presentation was incredible, but more importantly, the taste made me want to lick the plate. Dessert - Chocolate Mouse and I had a Rice Chocolate Dessert. I really had no idea what I was eating, but it was all spectacular. I highly recommend if you like gourmet, unique foods. They have several restaurants in addition to the American Bounty and the grounds are beautiful to walk around.

We enjoyed our lunch meal and experience at the Bounty. Service is attentive and food delicious. First course: lamb meatballs, fried quail and waffles and pear salad. Favorite was the lamb meatballs- flavorful and moist. Second course was the duck and short ribs. Short ribs so tender. Dining partner wanted a bit more crisp skin on duck. We sat in the section where kitchen was viewable and we enjoyed that. Shout out for the cocktails and warm rolls!

Food was very tasteful but not served at a warm temp. Tea water served in coffee pot and not washed resulting in brownish water for tea. Waitress spilled 2,drinks on one of the guests at our table- they did comp meal but she was uncomfortable eating in wet blouse and purchased sweat shirt. Staff needs attention.

This was our first time at the CIA. What a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Ketrick, was fantastic. The food was top notch. We are looking forward to returning and trying the other restaurants.
