“We drove from fishkill after my mom’s chemo treatment in pok … we haven’t been here in a while because it is a drive but we were in pok and we were in the mood for different. We were very happy with the food everything was great we just weren’t happy with the service, we had to ask multiple times for Splenda, the waitress spilled the milk and I used my napkins, she never gave us extra (she had them in her apron) I had to call her over for some then she was taking the finished plates and dropped the butter knife on my mothers foot and never apologized and seen it fall and looked under the table . not sure if the waitress was a bit off her game but we decided to enjoy the food.“

“Used to go here when it was Debra T’s Cafe! I raised all 3 kids there! It was SO Good SO adorable SO clean! Was devastated when Debra T’s closed! Then it opened as Maple cafe and they quickly dismantled the adorable decorations that Debra T’s had up 😣 In my opinion they destroyed it took the booths out and took all the adorable cute things down. “Went above and beyond when my husband ordered me a gluten free lettuce wrapped burger. Asked him if it was a sensitivity or allergy, when he replied allergy they stopped production of all other burgers to make mine so it would have no contact trace. Not to mention their fries are always gluten free. So very grateful to be able to get safe food for my celiac disease while getting take out!“

“We had the buffalo chicken pizza, ham and pepperoni roll, and the ravioli dinner (yum, with mozzarella cheese and sauce on top). All were excellent. We did a pick-up order, and noticed when we got home that the salad was missing that went with the ravioli dinner. We called, and what seemed like only moments after I put down the phone, the doorbell rang with the salad and bread and apologies delivered -- great service!“

Stepping into Mr. P’s Roadhouse on a scorching hot Friday was like finding an oasis, and that's largely thanks to the incredible service from Sheila, the bartender. From the moment we arrived, Sheila greeted us with the warmest smile and a politeness that immediately made us feel welcome.
She was quick to recommend the coconut tacos, and let me tell you, they were an absolute game-changer! Hands down, the best tacos we've had in this entire area – a true delight. The beer was perfectly ice cold, and the air conditioning was a blissful escape from the heat outside.
What truly made our visit exceptional was Sheila's wonderful personality. She had us laughing and feeling so comfortable, it was as if we’d known her our entire lives. Her genuine warmth and friendly demeanor are exactly what you hope for in a bartender.

“So me and my family are up here this weekend for my wife's college reunion thing and she suggested Applebee's. It's close by the college and we wanted some good food before we head back to the hotel. Our waitress was phenomenal. I can't give her enough praise, attentive, patient (there was nine of us), plus she served two other tables around us. I gotta say the food wasn't as good as I had hoped. To me it's a hit or miss with boneless or regular wings. Either they're too saucy or not enough sauce. These were too saucy and my pasta was too saucy as well. My wife complained about the chip being stale as well. The ambience was good. Wasn't too to crowded but with a big family we bring the crowd with us usually. The staff was definitely accommodating so I really enjoy that.

Kid-friendliness: This was definitely a family friendly vibe as more families were there versus single people at the bar.“

I always complain about the competition because they always forget something key. Like asking for diet and driving away and its regular coke. Ketchup for fries, nope. “I took my kids here last week. My order was taken and the young lady lost track of us multiple times. As I was not in a hurry, I didn’t notice. After a series of forgetting our drinks, not calling us when our food was ready and not putting a cookie tote order in (which takes a while), a young man by the name of Jahsheem came to my table and apologized for everything that had transpired He was polite, friendly and respectful but above all, he was intuitive and and noticed what was going on around him. He gave me a $10 Giftcard for a future visit. I did not complain nor did I make any gesture to let anyone know I was upset. “So I had a really long day of doing deliveries and I was about to do my last deliver but my phone died which I needed to complete my delivery. I had no charger and realized I was also hungry and I saw the golden arches. I walked in and the place was very busy and was greeted by lovely woman named ayesha. I asked her if there was any possible way someone had a charger I could use to charge my phone while I eat my dinner. She not only plugged my phone in for me and kept an eye on it, she made sure my order was correct and was very courteous and caring while managing the dinner rush. I finished my meal which hit the spot and my phone had just enough charge to get me to my next delivery. I have worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years and was so impressed by how she managed the floor with elegance and kindness. Not only did I leave happy, she helped me so I could also finish my work and go home not stressed. She really runs the place well and definitely deserves a raise. It really meant a lot to me.“
