I had the blackened Mahi sandwich and he had the tropical shrimp and Mexican corn and they were insanely delicious. Our waitress I believe was Danielle and she was a sweetheart. Service was excellent. This will be our place to eat everything I come up there. I felt like I was at the shore.“

“I took my parents out to the Hudson River Walkway and reached the Historic Hamlet. We got a little hungry and found this very cozy place. The food was awesome for like half of what you’d pay in NYC, and all folks there were super nice. Ate too much but we walked back lol.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. When we were there, there was a table of teenagers eating. Then the owner’s own (I think) grand children came in lol.“

“I am only giving atmosphere a 3 because I have never been there, I used door dash. I have no idea what drew me to this place, I thought it was a KFC knock off just looking at the name. Obviously not.
I took a bite and nearly passed out. That was delicious. Everything was cooked incredibly well. No singular ingredient in the dish is trying to "do too much" or carry the flavor, it all just works so well together.
I am from upstate, down here on business, I ordered here two nights in a row and am getting some chicken and rice on my way home tomorrow. No regrats.“

The kitchen in this 40 plus year old establishment is amazingly clean and i am a mechanical Contractor!!
I laid my head on the floor and looked hnder at cleanliness hard to achieve in new kitchens!!
The chicken fingers are more like Chicken Slaps!!!
Like 3 whole Quattros fresh high quality birds!!
Just go and see , simple yet fantastic!!
