Very cool experience! The lunch menu changes daily it seems but there was a lot of variety and menus that looked straight from a high end NYC kitchen! They had miso glazed pork charsiu ramen, rotisserie chicken, and brick oven Italian pizza when we visited. The chicken was so delicious - very soft and tender - honestly one of the best grilled chicken I’ve had! The cafeteria has a great view of the Hudson River too.
I was visiting my family friends and they introduced me to this place right on the campus of the Culinary Institute of America! It's got a great view of the Hudson River as you eat! Great food and please give the students the love and support! If you're in the area, I recommend you stop by for any meal!
The Egg at the Culinary Institute of America is a highlight of this Thanksgiving holiday break. The campus itself is breathtaking, and knowing this is where Anthony Bourdain graduated makes the experience feel bittersweet in a meaningful way! Sara Moulton and Rocco DiSpirito are both alums as well, reinforcing how much talent has come through these halls. The student chefs are impressive, and their dishes show it.
