Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.

Initially disappointed that this student/public dining hall didn't have as many exotic goodies at the ready as a bustling NYC upscale food hall, I stumbled upon one of the most well-balanced Italian combo sandwiches I've ever had. Decent corn chowder helped temper the saltiness of the cured meats.

We wanted to go there to try something new. We got there alittle early, so all the vendors weren’t open but we went to The Innovation, and the food was delicious. The food is enough for two people and it was a good price. The students were nice and respectful as well. My daughter liked the atmosphere, environment, and the interior of The Egg❤️We will definitely come back for more delicious food. It was our for time there and it won’t be our last. The young man in The Innovation was professional and the details in explaining the food was great. The young 2 ladies who were at the register were nice and friendly, and the young lady in The Market, is was nice too we went Thursday (Jan 11, 2024)Thank you everyone at The Egg, keep up the good work. Oh yes the 2 students I asked outside to find The Egg, Thank you for helping me with the directions to get there. To the whole Culinary Arts Students, Thank you!❤️ Stay Bless, Safe, and Healthy. Great food with a gorgeous view of the Hudson River with indoor and outdoor dining

This is kind of a cool place especially for lunch. They have about 8 dishes you can choose from that change daily. I had some kind of chicken, broccoli and rice bowl with interesting flavors. My friend had a very good chicken sandwich served with mozzarella, arugula, and other assorted flavors and spices. This is all done cafeteria style in a way and the price is a whopping $10 for non-students, an absolute bargain. What I like is that you can try something you may ordinarily try not in an expensive restaurant and who cares if you aren't thrilled for $10? There's a patio and benches you can eat on by the Hudson. Or, you can enjoy the air conditioning inside (very hot day today but are outside anyway). A very pleasant experience. I'd definitely go back.

Good food / Excellent price

The food here was very, very good! They had things like a plate with Steak, Baled Potato with sour cream and bacon bits, and a small house salad for 8 dollars. Great price if I do say so myself, and there is great food for great quality and taste. The service here is self service and is kind of like a food hall, and make sure you try the desserts here before you leave. This is not really a place to make reservations because all seating is first come first serve. They have excellent views of the Hudson River, and if you go outside on the patio, there are little telescopes that you can look into to see things like the houses and the mountains and things that are pretty far away. Me and my family had a little bit of everything and I thing we can all agree that the food was awesome!

SCAM ALERT! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CARD INFO!For starters, they are already insanely overpriced. In addition to that, there is a 25% surcharge if you are not a student that they want to hide. It is posted no where near the menu or the cafeteria. It is posted on a random board no where near the where you order. The food was also a 2/10. Whatever they are teaching there is NOT how you make good food. The worst part, I was charged for multiple transactions that I did not make. Over $20 in orders that I never authorized or Got anything for. THEY WANT YOUR CARD INFO TO SCAM YOU DO NOT GO HERE.

You would expect a culinary institution to have good food right? Well, that isn't the case here. If you want to waste your money on food that will make you vomit you've come to the right place. Don't expect it to be cheap either! And whatever you see priced on the menu, expect to pay almost double that with no explanation.

Beautiful setting along the Hudson.Great selection of different foods and since it's the student food hall very inexpensive

Enjoyed the atmosphere, the views, the food. Definitely not your \"typical\" dining hall. Really, neat place to go. Not to mention some really good food. ?
