The bartender was the greatest part of our night. The food took forever to come out ,(57 min) and when it came out, the Carnitas were dry it was almost like pork jerky. The bartender, not the server, looked at the food, and said yes, that’s definitely dry. She brought the food to the back and our server brought it back within five minutes. I love Monte Alban, but this location... I would never go again! No music at all and waited 43 minutes (not timed, just knew when a message was received) before we were even told our order was never received in the back. Who told us? Not our waitress, but the bartender who walked by hearing us ask each other how long it was taking. Decent food, it's not the best to be honest but it is inexpensive and hits the spot. I plan on getting food here again for sure.Very basic when it comes to atmosphere but I really wasn't there for that.The service was great and they got to me and my son right away.I'm not sure why someone would say the place is disgusting. It was very clean when I was there. But I get it sometimes places might have issues and sour it.
