It was a busy Saturday night and our server was doing her best to keep up. In it spot along the Hudson, the restaurants view is lovely especially at sunset. But you dont eat the scenery. The food is properly prepared and served promptly. Its not the best value for the dollar but the view makes you forget. The fries with my steak were lukewarm at best. View was beautiful as always even though too windy to sit outside. Service is outstanding as is the food!
Food was well prepared - had the scallops, didn't understand the olives in the recipe. It took away from the overall flavor. Service was attentive and polite. Wait staff were quick and knowledgeable. Sommelier was also very helpful. The down side to this experience was that It seemed as if they were trying to turn over the table quickly so you felt rushed. And there was this intermittent banging like an unleveled washing machine on spin cycle. Very distracting.
