“This is Long Island's last McDonald's located inside a Walmart and it brings me a sense of nostalgia ordering from this McDonald's. I hope this McDonald's franchise will continue the journey inside Walmart for future generations to enjoy.“

“Our experience with Jocelyn on Aug 30th was so good it was worthy of a review. Very rarely do we come across an employee at a fast casual restaurant that makes our experience amazing. She was extremely busy but yet she still had a big smile, spoke beautifully, gave us her full attention and treated us with respect. She did not give us an attitude when we asked for an item to be subbed out on a burger and multitasked quickly and effectively while putting orders together. Before we left, we noticed they had a seasonal pumpkin shake that sounded interesting. We asked if we could try it to see if we liked it. We did not know it wasn't pre-made. She quickly, happily, shifted gears and made a small sample from scratch. Most people would not have bothered as that was a lot of work to do (and clean up). We were very impressed and grateful. She deserves recognition as we left there with good feelings and a desire to have that delicious shake. We called the store and expressed our impressions with the assistant manger. We hope it gets back to her and that she gets the credit she deserves (hopefully a raise).

The only reason I didn't give the food 4 stars was that the fries were not fully cooked and soggy.“

“I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. The food and the atmosphere was wonderful, but Ayanna definitely may be experience worthwhile.“

“Food is fresh and delicious! Prices are fair The only suggestion I can make is that the Mount Sinai location’s dining area is loud. Carpet or curtains might help lessen this issue Even so, the food and service is excellent and I highly recommend it!“

“Holy smokes…literally! Dare I say the best BBQ I’ve ever had in New York? I’ve had ridiculous BBQ all over the country. This brisket is LEGIT!!! Maybe a top 2 or top 3 brisket I ever had. Passed the tug test with flying colors! If I had to nitpick anything it would only be a slight lack of a smoke ring? But the smoky flavor was definitely there and juicy AF! “I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“The food was very good. I had mussels which were great and the skirt steak that came with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables that was very good. The steak was cooked to my liking. My wife had the Mac & cheese bites and risotto with chicken that was great. Overall the food and server were excellent and I would recommend this place to friends and family.“

“Had the pleasure of choosing Tara Inn for lunch today, every establishment can learn a lesson from the customer service that my friend and I experienced. Upon walking in we were greeted by Peter, Tara’s husband and son-in-law of the founder who named the bar for his daughter 47 years ago. We told him it was our first visit and he offered us seats and welcomed us. The regulars at the bar guided us through the menu and we each had a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles for $1 per burger expecting very small burgers we were surprised to find them standard sized and deliciously prepared to medium. My friend had the fried shrimp and I had a $13 steamed lobster! Excellent! They offer daily specials and one of the gentleman at the bar told me their steaks are very good. Every staff person went out of their way to make us feel at home. A charismatic women came out from the back and introduced herself as Tara she thanked us for choosing to lunch there. Why can’t other places realize the importance of making a first time patron feel welcome. I
Had a great afternoon enjoying the excellent variety of beers that they provide on tap. The charming decor has probably changed little since the ‘70s and that adds to the vibe. If you want to go to the friendliest bar on Long Island, head over to Tara Inn.“

“The food served here was very good, i had the sizzling sirloin 10/10. Aside from that I had accidentally left my purse at the dinner table while taking a call and my party had left without knowledge that my purse was there. Before i could notice i was already an hour away. The manager at this location and his staff were very helpful with this issue. When i found proper arrangements to get my things they secured my items and made sure nothing was taken. Very appreciated thank you 🙏“

“I hadn't been to an IHOP in over a decade and never one back home on Long Island. I went with my eldest son to this one at his request (his first time at this location, too) and had a clean restaurant, friendly staff and excellent breakfast food. Definitely a pleasant experience - and funny thing... Even the to go container for the food I couldn't finish was top shelf! Honestly, it was better than a container I got from a $500 per person meal at a steak house!

“The food was just OK. The price of the little burgers is crazy expensive. The chicken rings are normally pretty good, this time they lacked flavor. Service was so, so, couldn't hear the person taking our order, so had no repour when she did interact with us, didn't even ask if we wanted sauces. For a bag of cheese burgers 10 baby burgers, and a bag of chicken rings and a small fish nuggets was like $30. Never see anyone in the restaurant. The night we went there was only 1 car in line.“
