Every time we eat Fittnell BBQ, it is delicious! The last time we ate with them, we had the brisket sandwich and buffalo chicken sandwich, both tender, juicy and flavorful. The service is friendly and quick!
Fitnell Barbeque is one of our local favorites! We love trying their very creative, homemade BBQ sauces. Their menu has such a variety that my whole family loves their food! Definitely a local establishment worthy of your patronage!
The food is well-prepared and delicious! I'm especially enjoying the new street corn salad!

Fittnell Barbeque in downtown Ithaca offers really yummy and reasonably priced traditional Texas brisket and homemade meals. Favorites include the brisket, pastrami special, and mac & cheese, all made from scratch and ready quickly. The brisket, pork, coleslaw, and smoked turkey are popular choices and highly recommended if available. The setup in Personal Best Brewery was nice, casual, and fun, making it a great vibe for grabbing BBQ alone or with friends. Despite limited weekend hours, it has become a favorite BBQ spot in upstate NY, known for its friendly and welcoming owners and staff. The restaurant also has vegetarian options like smoked mushrooms, pickled pickles, pickled onions, and slaw. There is plenty of street parking and a mini lot at the back of the building. It is kid-friendly, with kids of all ages enjoying the pulled pork and ribs, and it offers wheelchair accessibility with ramp access. Amazing pulled pork! Tender, great bark, perfect smoke. Hands down the best food in Ithaca. On top of that the owners are friendly and clearly care about their customers. Every meal has been delicious—flavorful, tender, and always on point.
