Ithaca Deli is a nice store with a great location near the Commons. The owner seems very nice; one time the owner cut up a new watermelon and the watermelon chunks were delicious and more than fairly priced. The staff is super nice and caring, and the place is clean with lots of options to grab and go or sit awhile. The deli is ran by a very sweet guy who takes the time to make incredible smoothies using real ingredients and real fruit. The chicken over rice is extraordinary delicious. The Ithaca Deli special hot sandwich has jalapenos, chicken and bacon. There are also great choices like the bacon egg and cheese, which is nyc style food. However, they charge you extra if you are not paying with cash.
