This is probably one of the best pizzas in Ithaca. They do a nice job overall. Crispy crust and great flavor on the pizza. Don't order from Grubhub if you are ordering delivery. I had an order fall apart and had to pick it up myself. He told me that Grubhub doesn't have enough local drivers and typically are longer waits than others.
I’m a native Ithaca and hands down this place makes the most def***ingLICOUS pizza - you simply won’t find a better slice of thin crust pizza around. The sauce is and toppings are crazy good but what makes this pizza stand out among the rest is it’s perfectly cooked-ever so slightly crispy crust that lends itself nicely to shoveling the first couple bites in your satisfied mouth. Sadly, Sammy’s is closed. The website shows open but the doors were locked. We tried calling and the message said to order online. When we tried to order online, there was a message saying Sammy’s is for sale. We stop every time we travel from Virginia to Syracuse because the pizza is the best we’ve had since Naples, Italy. Completely bummed!
