“This was our 2nd time visiting Om Wok, this visit to again sample their momo during the 2025 annual momo crawl. These momo are larger than most, with a moist filling with a bit of savory broth which can almost be compared to a soup dumpling.
Delicious!
The staff and owner are kind, hard working and passionate about their momo and other dishes.
A small, intimate place.
We would not hesitate to return to have more momo and sample other dishes.
Congratulations to Om Wok for being the champions in the 2025 momo crawl!!“

“We always come and get whole bag of Selroti when we visit NY. No other place makes sel like them. And if you have not had or know what Sel is it’s regarded as Nepali Dougnut but personally it’s something completely different. Chia and Sel combo is the best and this is the place to get.“

“I visited the Potala Fresh Food truck. These are my favorite momo in the city! The momo are so fresh and juicy you have to lean over the container or plate when you eat them, it’s that juicy! I typically get the beef but they have chicken and other varieties as well. I love that you can also order them frozen if you need a large amount for a home event.“

“Great food. Service was also good. But can be slow when super busy. I think theres only one server. So understandable if it gets a bit slow. But food was very good especially thali. One of the best thalis ever. Samay baji was also good. Restaurant was very clean as well.“

“This was the only momo food truck that was actually ready to help customers, palato truck across street didnt even come to the truck window to take my order.
Moms momos was perfect for momos. The employee explained everything and i got my order. The veggie momos were good, kind of bland flavorwise but the hot chili sauce addition gave it the kick i wanted.
Momo is a good late night spot in my opinion. I will be back“

“This food truck serves some of the heartiest momo on the streets of Jackson Heights. We got 8 thick and meaty beef momo for $8 at Amdo Kitchen. The go-to sauces here are the red sauce and white sauce. The halal momo are complimented with a thicker, chewier dough than other momos - it takes me three bites to finish each one. Amdo Momo is a favorite for those looking for an authentic taste of Tibetan cuisine. Don't forget to ask for the side of radish!“

“Himalayan Restaurant & Bar in Jackson Heights never disappoints. Their naan, chicken curry, and thali set are some of the best you’ll find—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Nepali. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Himalayan taste!“
