The waitress was exceptional with a smile and impeccable service. Food was basic and good, which is perfectly fine for a diner that this is. Excellent location. Perfect for lunch. A regular haunt for when we are in New York. The Breakfasts are great and the food and service never let us down. A great central location too and a chance to have a look around the fantastic Grand Central Station. The Cobb salad got very high marks for presentations and taste. Servers were all around efficient and pleasant. It's a charming ambiance at night, all the warm wood and candle flickering. The Maine lobster roll and the Nicoise platter, a nice twist on a Nicoise salad, were also excellent.
