“It’s more of a desert shop. Very tasty. The atmosphere is great too and very clean. The only down fall to the restaurant is the staff. Not welcoming at all and don’t greet you. I’m from out of country and I love to experience new places and I like to go back to restaurants that are friendly and warm, however, I won’t return here because of the staff lack of hospitality.“

“I’ve been a regular customer here for some time now, and it’s always a great experience. My go-to is the Too Coolie Smoothie which is absolutely delicious, sweet, and refreshing. Recently, I’ve also started getting the shrimp protein bowl with jerk sauce, and that has been just as amazing. The customer service is always excellent, the environment is clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I also really appreciate that they offer a discount for Crunch gym members next door. The owner is fantastic as well; whenever he’s there, he takes the time to interact with customers, which really adds to the positive atmosphere. We Juicing was a great addition to my community, definitely reccomend.“

As a private chef and a 4-year vegan, I’m always on the lookout for high-quality plant-based options, and Tropical Smoothie Café definitely impressed me on my first visit! After a full day, I was craving something satisfying yet fresh, and I couldn't have made a better choice.
I ordered the Peanut Paradise Smoothie with pea protein, and it was spot-on! Natalie made it perfectly and suggested swapping honey for dates—a brilliant idea that added just the right natural sweetness without being overwhelming. The smoothness and the flavor profile were exactly what I needed to unwind.
For my food, I went with the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wrap, but with a plant-based chicken alternative. As a chef, I can tell you that I was initially skeptical about how “jerk” the wrap would actually be without that signature heat, but the spice was on point. I was concerned it would be called jerk without the hurt, but the flavors definitely held their own. The seasoning was bold, aromatic, and had a nice depth that really brought the dish together.
The best surprise? The grilled wrap added that extra crunch I didn’t even know I was missing. It was the perfect texture contrast to the soft, flavorful filling. Alec did an excellent job with the prep, and Natalie was very thorough in confirming that the plant-based chicken was truly vegan, which I really appreciated.
Service-wise, both Natalie and Alec were so on top of things, offering helpful suggestions and making me feel like an all-star guest, despite it being my first time. Their attention to detail really made the experience stand out.
The café atmosphere was also excellent, with comfortable seating and a spacious vibe that made it easy to relax after a long day. Watching the smoothies being made right in front of me added to the experience—definitely a place I’d return to.
Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed. As a chef, I can say I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu. If you’re vegan or looking for fresh, flavorful food that doesn’t skimp on taste or quality, I highly recommend Tropical Smoothie Café!

“Love the place, a bit more cost than other stores but pretty worth it, they clean the grill everyday from what I hear and sometimes they tell you to wait after they clean the grill which I know takes time when you are in a rush, but a bit better to know they don't want to contaminate your food. Products inside are good, wide selection of drinks and they make smoothies too“
