“Great food, great smoothies, and wonderful customer service! There's also a good selection of high quality vegetarian and vegan items (both food and the smoothies). Would recommend for a quick bite or a full-on meal. Thanks for such a pleasant lunch!“
“Mother and Son Brunch … just because? at this quaint, tucked away secret gem in Queens. Truly the first place that I,ve found in Queens that does BOTH vegan and carnivore options WELL! If you’re like me where your household has a little bit of everything going on, this is your spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch! They are a vegetarian diner with an extensive menu so lots of good eats to choose from that are not salty or oily and well seasoned ?We had fresh carrot juice made to order, the pancake special with plant based bacon, eggs, home fries, sour dough toast, fresh fruit and avocado. Magnificent! They also have vegan desserts like apple crumb pie, frosted cookie crunch and so much more. The service was wonderful and we felt right at home. There is also a lovely gift shop right next door that has some unique knick knacks. Tell ‘em Avery sent you?Downside is parking is sparse so Uber or subway if you can. Note their hours are 8am - 3pm, closed on Tuesdays and are open on Sundays. Bon Apetit ?Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options. You will not be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Perfect Vegan spot with lots of optionsParking: You might have to circle a couple times to find parking as this location is in a residential neighborhood.“
“The Tropical bowl was beautiful! I love to eat açaí bowl, as an afternoon snack or as breakfast and the truth is, the taste was delicious. I find the prices affordable and the service 10/10. I will continue trying this store, its products, I know it will not disappoint me.“
“I visited this spot for the first time yesterday 3/7/2024 and was blown away by the fresh and delicious food I ordered and received. I had the jerk chicken bowl, tuna wrap and to top it off, a green leaf juice. Each item was very well portioned and made with fresh ingredients. The ambience was welcoming with the most friendly staff. Green Leaf Bistro was definitely needed in the Liberty, Queens area adding value to healthy eating. My new go-to spot from now on!Highly recommended!“
“I ordered a chai latte on a Saturday at 12:30 PM. It was perfect flavor, sweetness and temperature. I got it with almond milk. I brought in a bagel from another place. However, I saw that they also sell bagels and I heard people ordering an egg sandwich as well as other items, I also noticed they have healthy shakes as well. Since I live nearby I got a punchcard and I hope to visit soon. I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty positive that it's Latin owned possibly female owned as well. There's not too much seating, I believe there's three tables of two inside and two tables outside. Luckily, not too many people stay for long periods of time I was able to stay for two hours, talking to my friend with no problem.“
“Stumbled upon this joint randomly on my way home and what a surprise! The staff is really friendly and explained some of the sandwiches for me, decided to get the Chimi with chicken and the lava cake. Both were delicious and not the mention the fair prices.Although they don’t have an indoor sitting area, they have a small outdoor hut if you’d like to stay and dine in.Truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood, can’t wait to try some of their other specialities!“
“Diana and her Little Chef team catered a few 60 person events for us. She was so easy to work with, and her team is really great as well. We did a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvres, and her food is delicious. She will work with you on a menu within your budget and dietary restrictions, and it really feels like Diana and her team care about the success of your event and making sure all goes smoothly. I can't recommend her highly enough!“
“It is a super nice and pleasant place, the fruit salads and their cholado are delicious and the service is very good, I always go when I can and the experience is excellent.I will soon have my birthday there with my friends and family.Super recommended.❤️“
“This coffee shop is a gem. It’s neat, modern, clean, and the atmosphere is super soothing. There are words of affirmation on their mugs, which was a nice surprise.I had a latte with oat milk and it was refreshing. Seems to be a good place to order some coffee, read a book or get some work done. I didn’t get to check if there was WiFi or not, but this is a place I’d be willing to use my hotspot for.The staff were very warm and welcoming — I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the neighborhood to try a pastry or two! Thank you.“
“Has its own entrance and Manu, but is connected indoors to the neighboring ramen shop. Extensive menu that includes hot food appetizers. Has the typical toppings and requisite menu options for your standard bubble tea shop and good flavors.“
“I enjoyed the natural juices which includes the Sweet Greens which consists of fresh vegetables and fruits. The Strawberry Sunset is also another one of my fav. along with the Grind & Shine for a quick picker upper in the morning. Sandwich- healthy toast of turkey with kale & other veggies.“
“Best spot in queens to get your açaí bowl. I highly recommend. It’s so delicious and worth the trip. Very good quality and affordable prices. Let’s keep supporting the small local businesses! You won’t regret it. Excellent customer service and experience all the time.“
“The Green LIC is a top notch health and wellness establishment. The owners demonstrate a clear understanding of their community, and the importance of wellness, Whole Foods, clean ingredients, and customer service. It is the juice bar I shop at exclusively in the neighborhood. I am proud to continue shopping with them and witness their growth. All the best to the team at The Green LIC!“
“EXCELLENT & BUDGET FRIENDLY - This is my go-to place for juices, smoothies, and acai bowls. The owners are kind and friendly, the ingredients are fresh, and they offer a loyalty punch card for repeat customers! I highly recommend this place over the others in Queensboro Plaza.“
“Made to order and all the ingredients used are fresh. Reminds me of eating delicious açaí bowls at grappling competitions. Highly recommend if folks are also looking for other healthy bowl alternatives.Staff is very friendly as well, clean store and calm vibes ?“
“Roast & Co is a welcoming local cafe for delicious food and drinks. It is a great place to read a book, do some work, meet with friends, or to grab a quick coffee before hopping on the LIRR. I especially love the smoothie bowl for breakfast!“
“Small but very cute and clean boba milk tea cafe in the heart of LIC. This place also serves many types of Asian food, like poke, sushi, and other healthy salads and rice bowls. I ordered the spicy ahi tuna poke bowl and a tea drink. Poke bowl used very fresh ingredients, fresh tuna, warm moist rice, and it was very nicely presented and tasty; the portion size was just right as well - I did not leave hungry. The prices are fair. The interior is very cute, clean, and a lot of nice subtle details throughout the inside.“
“They have healthy vegan food which is rare in this neighborhood. On top of that the vegan food tastes identical like real meat. Highly recommend Citrus chicken made with vegan meat , Plant base delight with quinoa. Feel inside out healthy at this restaurant and look for their delivery service of my everyday meal.“
“Love this location. There are several Mr Wish in NYC. I generally like them but this location consistency is the best. Taste of the tea is always top notch, fresh, and done as you ask, amount of ice, sugar level etc. pearls always chewy but not rubbery. Open late enough for your after dinner treat. Good space if you feel like a quick break. Customer loyalty card is the icing on the cake.“
“This is suuuuuuch a cool spot, highly recommended cafe and ceramics workshop, you can see the ceramics pieces made by the owner and her kid, they're just unbearably cute oh and coffee is good tooKid-friendliness: ⭐⭐⭐? even offer babysitting on weekendsWheelchair accessibility: Step-free entry“
“Amazing lentil soup! That's all I've tried so far. We ordered delivery and although they were out of the roasted vegetable soup which was what I originally wanted, I am so glad I tried the lentil soup! Soooo good! It was hearty with a little veggies in it and three types of lentils...full of flavor! You can taste the freshness and love in it! So glad I found this place.“
“Really yummy and amazing prices!! This is a neighborhood gem for sure. Doesnt look like much on the outside but dont be fooled bc they have delicious smoothies. Got the green apple delight and the mango. Both were very good. I’ll be back!“
“Healthy and delicious? Yes, please! If you’re in LGA, Green Leaf is THE GO-TO spot for smoothies, salads, soups, and even wraps (ESPECIALLY THE SMOOTHIES). They sell the best smoothies LGA has to offer without a doubt !!! I HIGHLY recommend the peanut butter strawberry banana smoothie. The cashier was very friendly and had great customer service. They recommended I get the large, but I decided to settle for the small. THE SMOOTHIE WAS SO GOOD I HAD TO GO BACK FOR ANOTHER CUP ( THE BIGGER SIZED CUP).“
“My mistake, I went here this morning on a blind buy, just giving this place a chance. Big mistake on my part, hear me out. The place is spotless, neat and orderly. I have a particular habit of tuna on poppy bagel, lots of black pepper. This place is for tuna lovers, they get it right. The tuna is not filled with bread crumbs, some places do this as a filler. The tuna itself is balanced, the right crunch, enough tuna seasoned well without being salty. I usually make my own so I know want I want and the consistency im looking for. The poppy has the perfect firmness without being tough, soft enough to capture the tuna. The portion of tuna is very good, for price. My issue is, now I have stop here when im in there area for my fix. Superior “
“If you haven't been to Claudette's, you're missing out! Healthy, delicious foods and pastries. Wonderful healthy drinks, hummus and other treats. I go every Saturday for their "green" drink! 10 out of 10 everyone. Associates are the BEST!Ask for Ro! ?“
“Went there yesterday and the atmosphere was amazing, the co-owner Ashari was super nice and welcoming. He made sure everyone's order was correct and explained the ingredients that went in acai bowls and how the juice was made. Excellent service and products.10/10 ?“
“This is my favorite juice place in NYC. They have great blended juices and a super friendly staff. They are open 24 hours and are a great option for 2-3 AM. They have some prepared sandwich and dessert options as well as yoghurt bowls and other snacks. Very good selection and very convenient.Dietary restrictions: Good for people who are dairy free.“
“Small homey diner with good food and good coffee. They have a wide variety of menu items including health conscious options and a natural smoothie bar. The customer service was excellent. The staff was attentive, warm, and kind. The inside is small but cozy. A great spot for a coffee date, friend date, or solo date.“
“This place is excellent! I was in the neighborhood for work and I wanted healthy food and this was the first place that came up. They have great grab and go options as well as smoothies, soup, mushroom burgers and plant based entrees to go. I had the vanilla peanut protein smoothie, tofu scramble and vegetable soup. All were delicious and the staff is very friendly. I wish I lived closer because I'd go back all the time. Thank you for offering healthy food at prices that are reasonable!“
“Wow! So delicious, the whole family loved it! The fruit is sweet and fresh. The matcha ice cream was very good but what I was most impressed by was the coconut ice cream! It was soft and sweet but not overbearing like unnatural or artificial coconut flavor. The crepe was thin and crunchy. Overall a 10/10 this place was amazing! The prices are also very reasonable most things less than $10. The amount you get and the quality of it is worth every penny!“
“A consistently delicious meal. I love almost everything I get here. I'm actually pretty obsessed with the chicken salad wrap! I miss the old paint job though, since the bright white is less comfortable to sit in. I also wish there was more room inside, it's pretty crammed. Overall, a good spot for a takeout of a quick healthy meal. The juices are delicious and the seafood salad is great too. My husband really likes the Buffalo chicken wrap.“
“Passed by this place so many times and finally was able to walk in. Service was great. I had so many questions and the staff was very attentive. Menu had so many great choices and will hopefully be able to try them all! If I can suggest placing the nutritional facts on the menu, I like to document my food intake for the day. Other than that my protein shake was delicious! See you again soon!“
“Amazing food :) some of the best, if not the best, Peruvian food in nyc ❤️ tastes like some of the good stuff you can find in Lima. The wait staff is so friendly and lovely. I took my friend here for the first time and he fell in love with the cuisine. You won’t be disappointed if you come here :)))) xo “
“Very happy to have a health food restaurant in my neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised with my detox drinks. I get my fair serving of fruits and vegetables in a drink every week. The place is very clean and the service is good. I recommend this business. Great service and healthy food.“
“This establishment may hold the best boba in the whole borough. Perhaps the whole city. I stepped in this place in awe of the 144hz 60fps monitors showcasing each of the delicate beverages. I ended up choosing a recommendation from the fellow barkeep and got a Thai Milk tea on the rocks with extra boba. May i say, this is the best liquid substance I’ve gotten my sweaty hands on. 10/10 sweet goodness. I bought 4 more to drink throughout the day, and let me inform you, I found the meaning of life. All thanks to Cocos Fresh Tea & Juice. My messiah.“
“Went there just before 7 am on Sunday. It’s probably the only thing open during this early hours. I was greeted with a smile from the staff and the sweet warm aroma as soon as I entered the bakery.I had no idea about the names of the pastries what I bought (see picture); I just picked whatever looked appealing and tempting. Can’t really go wrong with any choices here. Many items are bigger than expected with very reasonable prices. It was the first time I visited a Mexican bakery and I was very happy I did.“
“I love this place the food is always so flavorful and fresh but I have never been there in person. I always order through Uber eats and I’m never disappointed however when you try to contact them it goes straight to a message and that’s not good people have food allergies so you should either have a note option or a phone that works. I have food allergies and this is a concern for me Especially when I cannot speak to someone to ensure they’re not using certain things that could be harmful.“
“This place is just amazing! A hidden gem in Flushing.Every time that me and my bf go to flushing we go to this place. Today he decided to get the one with chocolate boba but unfortunately was sold out, he ended up getting the coconut pineapple which was so good! I always go for the mango one(it’s super delicious)We’re gonna be back for the Chocolate boba!!“
“Couple of seats inside and out if you want to eat there. Plenty of street parking and it's located across the street from a playground. On to the food, I got the beef steak platter and it was very flavorful! There were 4 - 5 pieces of very thin marinated steak. My only issue was it was quite tough. The yellow rice and bean paste was delicious as well. Included was a salad and either bread or tortilla. I recommend the bread since it was buttered and toasted on the griddle. Was pleasantly surprised with the variety for $13. Staff was pretty friendly even though there was minimal interaction. Mostly just to order and pay for the food. Oh, aside from the toughness of the steak, I just wished there was some more rice and bean paste. The amount of steak was fine. Will definitely come back“
“Wow so glad I wondered in here on my first trip to the Homedepot there....so glad I did! first, chocolate croissants to rival anything in NYC at $3.50 each! I took a little taste and though I would save it for later, but NO, the quality of the chocolate is excellent and jsut the right amount, perfect pastry! Then pound cake, very hard to find no one makes it anymore. Delish steamed pork bun! yummy red bean cake a great selection in this modern store restaurant that feels so authentic, cause, well, it is! Will stock up even more the next time. The store itself is clean, modern and well designed: love the pull out trays to get your cellophane wrapped pastry treat. Thank you Fay Da!“
“I always order a bowl with pork and various healthy additions. The pork is so tasty and all of the vegetables and other toppings are very fresh. The portions are huge. One bowl usually lasts for two meals. Prices are great. Friendly service and clean place. Amazing all around. This place is an underrated gem in Astoria on Broadway between 21st and the river! Not a dine in spot. (Since Covid, I think…they’ve removed all the tables inside.) Get takeout and enjoy your meal at Socrates Sculpture Park nearby.“
“The acai is of premium quality. The service is good. Atmosphere is calm. I am a repeat customer and I travel quite a way to get there. If you are contemplating trying, it is worth it. Ohhh, and the waffle package taste better than other Sobols'. I am a witness.“
“while doing my sunday morning shopping in astoria i made a stop at fresh deli and grill for a egg white on a hero and ice cofffee. good size well stocked deli with the typical deli stuff and the grill is working non stop for the in and out crowd .a few chairs outside to sit and enjoy especially on nice weather days. good food. good drink and for under 10 bucks , its well worth it. good neighborhood deli in astoria that has the grill ready to work.“
“While in Ridgewood Queens I went inside the #1 natural juice bar for a tropical smoothie and small mixed fruit cup and left 20 minutes later glad I did and was better then the pizza or gyro that I was originally contemplating for lunch .small bright place with a few chairs , large easy to read menu in English and Spanish with all the offerings of fruits , veggies , fruit cocktails in liquid or solid form .listen I don't know if these juice drinks benefit your health but it taste great and It can't hurt but only help if you do a little reading and research.Very nice folks who work here , prices are more then reasonable and fruits and veggies look and taste fresh 100 percent .But that burger or pizza down and grab a large cup of fruits and veggies , Your body and soul will thank you .4.5 on my yelp meter .“
“I work 12 hour shifts near here and I’m always soooo tired halfway through. I come here for a quick pick me up. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. She went an extra mile to charge me for a medium despite me ordering a large! Soooo sweet. ??“
