“I'm just curious if this place actually has halal food. The people that work at the counter said the owner is Muslim and all the meat is halal. But there is no halal certification, I haven't seen the owner yet, but I've seen the Boar's Head company sign posted. If they are getting meat from Boars Head then it definitely cannot be halal and I think that would be concerning. I just want to make sure the meat is good for us Muslims.

I've eaten their salad a few times (both Salmon and Chicken) and they tasted very good. However, again I'm just doing my due diligence and would want the owner to confirm here that the meat is certified halal. Hopefully the word halal isn't being thrown around just to get Muslims to buy food from there since there is a large populace of them in this area. Thanks!“

Found the environment friendly and warm, Danna the lady who greeted me, I found to be knowledgeable, helpful and patient with all my questions, helped me decide and create the perfect customized smoothie. I was able to sample the berry smoothie which was great ( even though I'm not a fan of bananas as they usually overwhelm everything else, however they balance the ingredients / flavors well and liked the berry blend.
I was able to substitute ingredients to blend the perfect flavor I was looking for. Acai your way, and the Berry smoothies are great. I have my goto smoothie — Mango Madness — a perfect blend of sweetness, tartness and a little spice from the hot honey ;). If you are lucky, you may get a free piece of fresh fruit while you wait. It’s a family run shop and I love this place. They recently started serving a delicious lunch menu as well. I come by at least twice a week!“

Besides the fact that they serve some of the best vegan food in the area, I always look forward to being received by their warm vibes.My favorite items here are the buffet stews, hearty soups, porridge, mac and cheez and the plantain patty. Even though the set up is similar to something like Chipotle the food was fresh a it had a large enough turn over to not have food sitting long. I personally love to come here with my 4 year daughter to have their artesanal paletas/ Colombian handcrafted gelato, we have tried most of them and absolutely love coconut-Dulce de leche, Nutella & lulo. They are delicious with rich flavors and very moderate sweetness, we love to sit in their patio and enjoy the birds, the cats and the cozy, nature feeling they have created.
