“My first time to a professional baseball game and only second time to New York! I'm glad it was Game 1 of the ALDS. We flew in Saturday morning from Wilmington, NC and back out Sunday evening! Not only was the energy out of this world, but Lisa, had more control of the bar patrons in both fairness and communication in her delivery of adult beverages! “I came back to Tap House on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. The bartender was super friendly. I ordered a burger from the brunch menu, which was delicious by the way, and she replaced the tots with fries and since brunch includes a drink she included the beer I was already drinking (brunch menu only had mimosas, screw driver and a couple other drinks, but beer). Fries were also delicious! Nice ambiance music and friendly patrons. I will definitely be back! Parking isn’t easy but you can find metered parking. Be careful if you park near the residential area because some streets are private and they can boot your car.“

Agua de Coco Bar is such a vibe! The atmosphere was perfect — laid-back but lively, with great music and beautiful decor that gave it a tropical feel. “Seating and food was great! They did give me my meat medium well which I asked for just medium, the cook did redo it for me and was very nice and professional about it. The only bad thing about it was the atmosphere which was a bit hot, especially when seated on leather seats and our server Jessie had bit of an attitude. I understand that being a server is tough but at least don’t take out your frustration on customers or have a bad face when serving. Didn’t feel comfortable asking for things from her.“

“I was a bit hesitant while viewing the complaints but our server today was top tier. This is a sports bar restaurant it is family and kid friendly. Definitely, not a fast food joint so wait times can be longer than normal. The cocktails are amazing. Also, if anyone in your party is celebrating their birthday ask for the birthday dessert. They will put happy birthday song on the screen and have 2 waiters sing along with their dessert and a candle on it. Geovanny did an amazing work tonight.“

“A friend took me there for the first time and just looking from the outside, it didn't looked appealing. When I got in the space was cozy and the food was beyond my expectations. I have revisited them several times even though the drive is about 25 minutes.“

“Total vibe before the Yankees game. We were in our St Louis Cardinals matching jerseys for our 5 yr anniversary. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The twins were really nice and their bouncer, server, host added so much entertainment and a genuine touch.

The food recommendation, and I quote: 'look im Greek, so I know everything taste great". With that we order two beef gyros and two Bloody Marys *spicy*. The gyro was the best open faced sandwich I have ever tasted. The Bloody Mary did not disappoint, great flavor and wonderfully spicy.

If we ever have a chance to go to another Yankees game. We will be back.“

“I have been a customer of Austin’s Ale House for many years, I know them well they know me well. This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. “Had a surprisingly great experience here! I was expecting just low quality snack food but the tacos were really delicious and did not skimp out on fillings. My friend also thoroughly enjoyed the Cuban sandwich, saying it was potentially one of the best ones he’s ever had. Prices are reasonable. The waitress was also really friendly and nice. This is a great place to wind down and have a drink or a snack after practicing at the driving range.“

“Vaga Alta Sports Bar near Yankee Stadium is a solid spot to hang out before or after a game. I stopped by and grabbed a Stella—served in a clean, cold glass, which I appreciated. The prices are decent, though I didn’t explore much beyond the beer. The menu’s got a ton of options if you’re hungry. The bartendress was gorgeous and super friendly, which made the vibe even better. With at least a dozen TVs showing different sports, it’s a great place to catch some action. Four stars—definitely a nice holdover spot!“

“This is a great bar. I visited on Sat 28 September whilst on vacation from Liverpool (UK), to watch my team Liverpool FC play Wolves. Within the first five minutes I knew that I was going to have a good experience, when I heard the barman talking to a couple of locals, reminiscing about the drunken night before that they had enjoyed together in the bar. There was a good atmosphere here, and the Guinness was good too. After the match I got talking to a couple of friendly local lads who tried to buy me a drink and asked me to have a shot with them. They also tried to persuade me to move on with them for food but I had already eaten. Top fellas. I am going to try and get back here when I am next in New York.“

“It was a Saturday night and they had some artist singing on stage which was awesome. The food was absolutely out of this world. The chim pum callao had all the main traditional dishes of the house, Causa, choros a la chalaca, ceviche, chaufa de mariscos and chicharron de pescado. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The weekend specials were the bomb!! Papa rellena en salsa de mariscos was addicting. I also loved their drinks, all of them highly recommended, well decorated and the fact that it comes with the smoky in it its just a plus, have not seen it anywhere at all. All of the servers were smiling with a positive attitude all the time. The service was A+++ as well as the place itself with the two chimneys makes you feel very cozy and warm. One of the servers told me that they were going to start serving BRUNCH on Saturdays and Sundays. Definitely will be back for Brunch!!!!“
