We discovered this gem of a restaurant in Jamestown a couple of years ago. When my family comes from Pittsburgh it is one of our favorite places to eat. We like to support small local businesses and Ruben and his mom and their cafe are a wonderful addition to our area. The homemade food and welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back!
The best Cuban Sandwich I've ever had outside of Florida? In Jamestown, New York? Life is quite a roller coaster isn't it? Seriously - this little cafe in downtown Jamestown is a must-visit if you're nearby. Everything I've tried here is excellent, but their classic Cuban Sandwich is the real winner. It's perfect, and most importantly they use legit pressed Cuban Bread!
I LOVE going to Havana! Great authentic food, great atmosphere, great location! My out-of-town family and friends always want to go back to Havana when they are visiting. I went to high school with the owner, Ruben Hernandez. You won't meet a nicer, more genuine gentleman. Together, Ruben and his mother run Havana, and they represent the best of Jamestown, NY and everything that is good about our hometown community!
