“Came to this Asian cuisine because of their reviews. My team from all different backgrounds HKG, JP, HI loved their food and service. They provide a very welcoming atmosphere and good menu. The food reminds me of home. Likely the best Asian cuisine you find in the area. Good taste, good price and generous portions.

Dishes we loved (didn't take pictures of everything):
- Soup dumplings: hot soup, tender pork (takes time to make, order first)
- Hong Kong Style Roasted Duck Noodle: crispy skin and great flavor duck, with the authentic 車仔麵 noodles
- Malaysian spicy miso ramen: slight kick to the broth, genius mix of Malaysian Japanese broth flavor
- Singapore Mei Fun: good portions of toppings and noodles. Loved the
- Brown sugar rice cake: brown sugar sauce not only on the outside but also inside. Got a good crunch outside and soft chewy texture inside. Just a good amount of sweetness.
- Short rib: tender and good marinade“

“This is by far the best Chinese takeout you will find in probably the whole New York. That includes the city. I've had so much Chinese food across NYC and a lot of them sadly fell off. Peking Garden in Brewster has held their ground for many years. The consistency of their food, and the pride they take in ownership is why they are #1. They offer menu items that you cant get anywhere else in the whole county, and the flavor is always the best. They serve the freshest vegetables and use the best ingredients to make their dishes really stand out. When I get Peking Garden I have to literally force myself to stop because it's so good that even when I'm full I just want another bite, and another bite lol.“

They are relatively busy and sometimes they can be understandably brusque which might be a combination of factors like efficiency and cultural so perhaps lean on the patient side. Lastly, it’s a hole in the wall place. Don’t expect a sumptuous decor, expect sumptuous vittles!“

Spring rolls & LoMein were great too. Did not care for the Crab ragoon - made in a different way. All arrived quick & hot. I will order again.“

I genuinely don’t understand some of these reviews, so far as of ordering 5 times now everything has been above and beyond..my go to is the sechuzan style roast pork. Tried the fried wontons in garlic sauce today, amazing. Great local option, they never miss an item or an instruction. This has become my go to spot in town.“

“Wonderful gourmet Chinese take-out in Mahopac and worth our 30 minute ride. Tasty not oily or over salted. The boneless spare ribs, Wonton Soup were splendid! Then Moo Shoo Pork and Chicken with Broccoli. Yummy. A BIg step up from the usual Chinese take-out out restaurant. And large portions as well!“

And their egg rolls are also amazing. The owners are so nice the place is a bit crowded with boxes and could use a cleaning and organization but never seen any bugs crawling around. “The BEST Chinese food I've ever had. Compared to NYC, the food in this place is tasty, flavorful and delicious. And they are not cheap nor skimpy with their portions either. I kept talking to the young lady up front taking the order. She was so sweet, kind as well as attentive. My family and i are definitely coming back here. “The food was amazing. Me and my siblings order here and we’re always left full by 3-6 bites. It’s truly amazing, and surprisingly kind of not expensive especially in this economy. We had a great time, and i know one the workers from school. The people were really kind, and i look forward to going here many times.
