“Nice local spot offering traditional Chinese menu. We ordered Pork Fried Dumplings, and these were flavorful and crisp, as were the Egg Rolls. Our entrees were the Hunan Special, a spicy dish of jumbo shrimp, crab meat, chicken, pork, black mushrooms, and vegetables, and the Happy Family with similar ingredients minus the spicy kick. Both were prepared well and fresh. We opted to dine in, and the tables were clean and well lit.“

“Just had lunch here today and the food was delicious. We had the spicy Malaysian ramen, beef with noodles. Soup dumplings for an appetizer. We also got the Singapore mei fun and dumplings to go and everything was delicious! Flavors were spot on and we are very happy with the portions and quality !! Super clean restaurant, comfortable and cute interior and great customer service! Very authentic and flavors are close to the city type of Chinese food- if that’s what you’re looking for! We will definitely be back! Only feedback I can offer would be that the soup dumpling skin was a little thick for me but still tasty!“

“Since moving to the area I've been told many times to try On's.
We just tried it for lunch the other day and was not disappointed.
The food was fantastic, much better than other Chinese places.
I had general tso's with white rice and a won ton soup and even the soup was amazing.
They only take cash and the food is expensive but worth it.“

“This is by far the best Chinese takeout you will find in probably the whole New York. That includes the city. I've had so much Chinese food across NYC and a lot of them sadly fell off. Peking Garden in Brewster has held their ground for many years. The consistency of their food, and the pride they take in ownership is why they are #1. They offer menu items that you cant get anywhere else in the whole county, and the flavor is always the best. They serve the freshest vegetables and use the best ingredients to make their dishes really stand out. When I get Peking Garden I have to literally force myself to stop because it's so good that even when I'm full I just want another bite, and another bite lol.“

“My wife and I are long time residents of Somers and last we ordered out from Q’s was about a decade ago. Not so good back then…excellent today. What a difference! Our food including soup was exemplary - tasty, not salty and most importantly, fresh! Many thanks and we surely have a new go to for Chinese food.

“Wonderful gourmet Chinese take-out in Mahopac and worth our 30 minute ride. Tasty not oily or over salted. The boneless spare ribs, Wonton Soup were splendid! Then Moo Shoo Pork and Chicken with Broccoli. Yummy. A BIg step up from the usual Chinese take-out out restaurant. And large portions as well!“

“I tried this spot because of the lack of pork dish options elsewhere In the area. I genuinely don’t understand some of these reviews, so far as of ordering 5 times now everything has been above and beyond..my go to is the sechuzan style roast pork. Tried the fried wontons in garlic sauce today, amazing. Great local option, they never miss an item or an instruction. This has become my go to spot in town.“

“The food is amazing. When my husband and I drive up to roscoe (we are from long island) we always detour off route to stop here and grab some sweet and sour chicken and beef lo main. It's soo good!! And their egg rolls are also amazing. The owners are so nice the place is a bit crowded with boxes and could use a cleaning and organization but never seen any bugs crawling around. Highly recommend!!“

“The BEST Chinese food I've ever had. Compared to NYC, the food in this place is tasty, flavorful and delicious. And they are not cheap nor skimpy with their portions either. I kept talking to the young lady up front taking the order. She was so sweet, kind as well as attentive. My family and i are definitely coming back here. “I've been doing take out dinner combo at 6:45 pm. Ordering online 30 minutes before pickup. Always ready, always hot. Need to get the utensils and napkins there - they don't automatically put them in the bag (which is good. You just have to know).“
