“the food is always great!“
“This is the BEST restaurant in buffalo and my favorite. I've been eating here for 16 years since my high school days at McKinley. Even when I moved to Georgia I always come back to eat here. Theyare the ONLY Chinese restaurant that makes beef and broccoli & crab sticks the the way I like them. ???“

“Wok & Roll in Williamsville is nothing short of a revelation — easily one of the best Hong Kong-style Cantonese restaurants in the Rochester–Buffalo area. A true hidden gem that deserves way more attention and repeat visits.
The Eggplant Casserole was an absolute highlight: the eggplant was tender and silky, absorbing all the rich, savory sauce without falling apart. Comfort food executed at a high level.
The Sizzling Beef with Black Pepper came out dramatically on a hot iron plate — aromatic, juicy, with a perfectly balanced sauce that clings to each slice of tender beef. A crowd-pleaser done right.
The Typhoon Shelter Shrimp was crispy, garlicky, and bursting with umami — a bold dish that packs both texture and flavor, especially if you're a fan of fried garlic and spice.
Equally noteworthy was the service — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear the staff takes pride in both the food and the overall experience.
In short, this place sets the standard for Cantonese dining in the region. Wok & Roll isn’t just a great Chinese restaurant — it’s the gold standard for Hong Kong-style fare in Western New York. Absolutely worth many return trips.“

“It can be hard to find a Chinese restaurant open past 8pm on a Sunday, but they were open!
They had our food ready in under a half hour and it was absolutely delicious <3
The wonton soup had the best broth I've ever had in a wonton soup and the beef and broccoli was phenomenal.
I see they have some negative reviews, but I think that 2025 has been hard and stressful for everyone. I plan on ordering from them again, even though there are other, closer, Chinese restaurants.“
