Whisk not only makes delicious, moist cakes but they are absolutely stunning and priced right. I just bought my second cake from them. One in March and went back and ordered again in April. “We got our wedding cake from Angela and it was AMAZING!! I would highly recommend getting a cake from her for any occasion. We ordered some tasting cupcakes to determine which flavor combo to go with and it was so hard to choose - the flavor and texture of her cakes are outstanding! Lots of compliments and questions where we ordered it from from our guests. Also, Angela was so helpful and easy to work with.“
“This was my second visit to this adorable shop. The displays are always filled with delightful treats and an amazing variety. Last time, we sampled one of each of their macarons. Perfection. From the feet on the macarons to the light but flavorful fillings, we knew we had to return for more treats. This visit the macaron shelf was filled with small individual cakes. We could not resist. We tried the carrot cake and red velvet cakes and I opted for a black and white cookie as well. Service was fast and the ladies at this shop are very amicable. I appreciate and value good service and this location is top notch. The store is clean and they have a drink station also. We will most definitely be coming back again. I just have to try the spritz cookies. I would like to perhaps get an assortment to try one of each.“

“The last time I went to an Ice Cream store that provides their own custom flavors was in Carey, North Carolina. This store is located in a small strip mall with ample parking. From what I read; Ice Cream Social has several flavors of ice cream along with vegan flavors. They do have traditional flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, and cookie dough, but they are constantly designing new flavors. I tried many flavors before choosing the pumpkin pie flavor ice cream. But I did also like the apple cider donut and Coco Almond Joy. Next time I will explore other interesting creations. The staff was kind enough to afford me the opportunity to taste many creative flavors. It was not easy to settle on just one flavor. I recall a family member explaining to me what it takes to create these interesting flavors, and he stated it is all in the Cream mix. If you want to enjoy high quality ice cream with many creative flavors, one must indulge in Ice Cream Social.“
“Ouch! Not sure if this Carvel is under new management, or if some people just live to throw shade (y'all realize that one star is like getting a 20 on a test, right? Or is that too much math for you?) I will say that I can't comment on their cakes. I do know that when it comes to ice cream cake, not all Carvels are the same, not even close. We've used the Carvel in Plainview for cakes, but if all we want is some ice cream, we hit the Greenlawn Carvel. We've been to this Carvel location more than a few times, and everyone's happy with both the soft-serve, and the "hard" ice cream. I don't really have much else to add, what more can you say about an ice cream shop? 4 out of 5, extra star for being in the same strip mall as Deli 51, who doesn't love Deli 51.“
“Stopped here to get a St. Joseph pastry and ask the young lady behind the counter to give me two pignoli cookies. Unfortunately by the time I got home the pignoli cookies were in 100 pieces don’t know why they gave me such scary looking cookies I did not ask for anything for free the other quality of the pastries that I purchased were fantastic, especially the St. Joseph’s Day cannoli cream filled pastry so far is my favorite But the pignoli cookies were disappointing when I got home to give to my mom and they were all broken apart. I’m sure the owners don’t want people to leave negative feedback, or for the quality of the products that are to be enjoyed or to always be top-notch I’ll be back in the future they’ll take a little more pride in what they’re selling“
