It's the best potato salad I've ever eaten, super unique & unlike any potato salad I've had. I will continue to come back. I got the Italian hero and it was so delicious!! “This is an average deli. Nothing special about it and nothing bad about it. Potato and macaroni salad tasted like it was out of a five gallon pail and not freshly made. Tuna was not fresh either. Employee had no personality. Just took the order and rang me up. The deli is clean and well stocked. It's the only deli in Nesconset so you don't have anywhere else o choose from in this immediate area.Parking: Parking is not great but since its not that busy, you will find a spot in front or out back.“

“I've lived in Huntington all my life and only started going here recently. I've always thought the best Delis we're in Northport and Huntington really only had above average Delis. But this place surprised me. Sofia's Place has always been my go to, but I've added this spot into the mix now as well cause it's just that damn good. Great breakfast! “I no longer live on Long Island so I'm unable to get food like this upstate, bonus I found queneapa's there as well. I had a medium plate of Spanish rice with beef and potatoes and bought the last bag of queneapa's they had and it was under $15 total, which is a great value in my opinion. The quality of the food was awesome. I can't wait to try more food there when I'm back visiting again. It was so hard to pick just one or two things to try.“

“Wonderful quality and service. Their cooked foods, particularly the soups are first rate. They have exceptional individually wrapped baked goods. The sandwiches are made well with the usual Boars Head and they do not skimp on portion. The star of the deli is the wonderful breads. The rye is marble and delicious. This is the best deli Ive been to aside from Kitchen Cabaret on Glen Cove Rd. The only problem is the DAMN PICKLE ...I cant stand pickle flavor near my sandwhich. No matter how emphatic I am, I still get that damn pickle wrapped in the second piece of paper 50% of the time. I have gotten catering from them many times. Very good. Food is good and they wrap , label nicely. They close early as most deli's do ..... why not provide delivery of DINNER at the end of the day? I certainly would love to call in and have soup and a sandwich for me my husband, and a salad of hot food for my kids dropped off at the end of the day BEFORE I have to worry about dinner.“
“I ordered 2 heroes today totaling $31.25 with chips and soda not incl in picture for the transaction amount. The salami hero was pretty good with their chipotle mayo. The chicken cutlet one was dry. $0.75/ topping or veggie is a bit much. $0.50 is reasonable.“
“This is the only Cuban deli that I go to in NY. Everything is delicious here. Today I came here for Sunday dinner. I took out several slices of Roast Pork and some White Rice, which only cost me $6. The pork was ultra moist, unlike the dry ones that I have eaten at some other Spanish Caribbean delis. I have been coming here for over 15 years. The prices can't be beat for the quality of food that you are getting. CASH ONLY!“
“I am a former NY'er that came to visit family and do some college visits with my daughter. Stopped in to St. James Bagels on accident and I'm so glad I did. Had their breakfast bagel with eggs and bacon and it was absolutely delicious. Eggs were fluffy and the bacon was perfectly cooked. The people there are wonderful. In particular there was an older gentleman there (can't remember his name), who was so genuinely kind to me and my daughter and also very funny. My daughter absolutely loved the place, both the food and atmosphere. It is my go to place whenever I am back in NY to visit.“

“This is a polish supermarket with a deli. I tried the pork chops, cheese blintz and pierogi both the cheese one and the sauerkraut one. The chops were so soft and just tore apart. The spice rub was pretty flavorful. Loved it. The cheese blintz was stuffed with cheese and it stuffed me up too. The pierogi shell was more rubbery than I expected. I preferred the sauerkraut one over the cheese one. Prices were reasonable and the meal filled me up.“
“My GO TO ! Neighborhood NY Deli for that all important Bacon Egg & Cheese on a roll + coffee combo. Reasonably Priced! Free coffee or Juice with egg sandwich! Call it in and pick it up - So easy and fast. Great every time! 15 Years of coming here and never a bad experience. They added a Mural in spring and it is such a welcome addition to once drag building side.“
