Overwhelming menu at first but if you focus on the Ruebens you can't go wrong! A little bit of everything if you're looking for sweet or savory snacks. Really patient staff. Sat outside on the one bench. Just wish there were a couple more options.
I have to give a shout out to Pumpernickels Deli in East Setauket.You've passed this deli doing 50mph headed into Port Jefferson. There's a well known deli very close to my home, guess what? I like Pumpernickels deli better. Why?It's a few things, most importantly getting greeted when I walk in. Inside is nothing fancy, to the left is the counter and to the right is the coffee station. I travel 8 miles for BLT's passing over a half dozen places that are closer... pumpernickels perfected what bacon should taste like and how it is cooked....rare amongst the masses....I have had many other sandwiches as well.... the place is just very very
