Service wasn't the best, waited 20 minutes for my drink order, appetizers arrived way before the drinks, I think the waitress forgot about the bottle of wine we ordered. The main course took very long . The food was amazing.
Well, what can I say. Another great "experience" at Le Canard Enchaine - and I use that word...experience...quite intentionally. Exquisite food, lovely vibe, professional service - yet casual, approachable and and very comfortable. I rank this restaurant among my favorite places in the world to have a meal - truly.
We dined here for the first time, and our waitress Morgan made it an exceptional experience. My wife had the lamb shank, which was delicious, and I had the 1/2 chicken, which was delicious, as well. The cabernet wine Morgan allowed us to sample, and we ordered it, as it was excellent in body and flavor. Again, service was outstanding, and the only reason for the 4 star food rating was due to the size of the portions. We undertand that French cuisine portions are often not what...
