“We were pretty hungry and the more popular restaurants nearby had hour + waits. We walked into Jack Barry's and it was empty. After we ordered, I glanced at the reviews and said oh no. However, everything was fine! my salad was very fresh, the fries were great, my husband and sons liked their food - loaded nachos, cheeseburger and for my picky son they made a custom item not on the menu- chicken and cheese quesadilla- he said it was better than taco bell. service was friendly. I say give this place a try.“
“Great time. The Halloween party was fun, the band Lucid Street was fantastic. Food was quick hot and reasonable. My grilled cheese sandwich was excellent, the sliders were a little plain. The drinks were excellent and reasonable. Nice place tucked a little out of the way. I will be making a point to return.“

“Absolutely best neighborhood tavern, the staff and patrons are always great! Live music every night from Thursday through Saturday. Draws a very diverse crowd and has a great dance floor. Drink prices are very fair and beer is ice cold. One of the cities best hangout's!!!“
“This restaurant has a casual environment that you felt comfortable eating at and the service was friendly and great. My wife is a vegetarian and I wish there were few more options besides salads but they were accommodating and would make any sandwich without the meat. We'll definitely be back.“
“Located within the Sagamore hotel, Mr. Brown's is a fantastic pub right on property. The restaurant has a very Adirondack feel to it decor wise, the food was solid and the service was absolutely amazing. I haven't had a service experience this good in a long time, we will definitely be back!“
“Tables are first come first serve. And there is typically only 1 or 2 bartenders who also serve the food/take orders. It does get fairly busy and it sometimes takes awhile to get noticed for more service if at a table, but at the bar u have a better chance of catching their attention. Food is always on point.“

“My partner and I went in for lunch and it was SO YUMMY. We ordered the chicken BLT, mozzarella sticks, and jalapeño burger. Angie was our server and was incredibly friendly and made us feel super comfortable. The food AND service was so good we went back the very next day! We were overjoyed when we discovered Angie would be our server again! She impressively remembered everything from the day before as well to add to the great time. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Lake George area!!“
