“This place is a gem. I know it’s not in the best part of downtown Albany. But the staff are amazing. Three waitresses are all great. The have ZERO attitude and just want to make sure you enjoy your drink and or food. There is no better place in the heart of downtown Albany serving drinks, food and smiles . This is a great atmosphere with even better people .“
“It’s a nice vibe in there. Lots of different types of people and I like the layout of the place. My only thing is that it was really warm in the bathroom like uncomfortably so, but it wasn’t that big a deal, just something I remember noticing. Live music is fire ? I can’t speak on the food I didn’t get any but the mixed drinks were type strong . I would return. Bartenders were quick and friendly enough.“
“What a legendary experience. We were at Hill St Cafe and called to see if they had garbage plates and they did! We were with a friend from Australia that hadn't had a Garbage Plate before so they cooked one up with home fries, Mac salad and burgers that was absolutely delicious. An experience that will never be forgotten and we all appreciate it!!!“
“Well, they are two for two with our visits and review of 5 Stars! Our waitress, Samantha was our server again. As pleasant and on top of service as before. I went with the pastrami Reuben and my wife ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. The bread/toasted just crisp, the meat(s) were on the nicely rare side. The sides, steak fries and macaroni salad were excellent!! Real Heinz ketchup, a must with fries! Beverages were on tap. Only slight issue were the nacho and salsa appetizer, chips are just so so and salsa the same. Would not order again. Ambiance was great (big screen TV) and warm decor. Looking forward to another trip soon. Thanks again, love all the locals at the bar too!!“
“Ended up going there tonight with 2 co workers of mine and it was a great place. Very laid back atmosphere and not noisy at all where we could actually have a conversation and not have to yell to hear each other. I ended up getting a bowl of the chili, which was amazing. Had the perfect amount of meat and beans in it. And I also had an order of fried mushrooms that were also amazing. Alot of places when you order fried mushrooms the breading just falls right off and mushrooms are mushy, but these were nice and crispy and batter tasted great. The bartender Brittany did and amazing job as well. She was really quick and was always there to make sure are drinks for good and also had great conversations with her. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice bar with great food.“

“Voted best dive bar in Albany. They are proud of that title and their Irish heritage! Light atmosphere. Everyone seems happy. No drama. We had some cold beers and a basket of cooked to perfection fried foods which included mozz sticks, onion rings, fries, and chicken tenders. Enough to share with many. Great jukebox too. “First, the good... The raspberry oatmeal pancakes might be the best stack of pancakes I have ever eaten. Incredible!Now, the not so good. Wait times on Sunday morning are over 40 minutes and because of the crowds the service is (was) subpar. Got my order wrong, no coffee refills, etc. So, plan ahead, prepare to wait and do not expect service that matches the food.“
“Heritage bar and fly and shaker road. Nice bar they have popcorn and nuts. They don't serve food, but if you want something to eat. There's a Stewart's right next store. It's a very nice atmosphere. Have a lot on tap Blue Moon course to name a few.Love you check it out, we did.“

“I ordered take out from Door Dash. I had The Club sandwich with fries. The sandwich was delicious and flavorful. The fries were warm and almost soggy, but they were still edible and had great flavor. I am sure they would have tasted great if I had them fresh. I will definitely order from there again, and maybe even stop in.“
“This is an awesome local pub. If you are interested I meeting people and engaging in conversation with other guests or the bartenders this is the place to do so. “Irish tavern that I was a regular of during the pandemic as it was on a common route. Food prices are amazing, plenty of specials. I once asked for a barbecue jalapeno chicken quesadilla and he made it the weekly special. Parking is in the back off Ontario Street take a right off new Scotland and another quick right.“

From the PBR on tap to amazing handcrafted cocktails with Japanese whisky and homemade green tea syrup... well actually all their syrups are homemade... great mix of folks from the neighborhood and beyond. Classic retro movies on the screen and a delightful soundtrack of chill old school tunes. Their hours are generous- so you might opt to stay a while and you will not regret it. “Great beer array! Booze on tap. Wood bar is colossally large. Bar stools can be pulled up to the counter. Floor is full'o peanut shells. The decor is UK football and sports memorabilia. Its very loud: forget phone calls. Wolff's Biergarten attracts clientele and beer swillers due to its beer variants which are very varied - and the bright sports decor! The parking is around the block, lock your car!! Staff should stay behind the counter and NOT sit and drink at customers' tables. Review: 5“
“food is good, served as requested. just be aware - and it is on your table when you are seated - there is now an automatic 18% gratuity added to EVERY bill. Party size does not matter. since some people did not tip (which i do NOT agree with - stay home) everyone is now subjected to this. I am not a fan. I guess i would think twice before returning.“
“This is a really fun karaoke bar! The staff are super nice, reasonable prices. Amazing song selection. The only thing that would make this place better is a decent pub menu, like wings, fries, burgers, ect. So if you are renting a room for a party, don't expect much in the way of food options. Still giving it 5 stars.“
