The bar is full of all the classic bar memorabilia that make this place feel like a Time Machine in the best way! The staff is also amazing friendly, funny and professional. One of the only places that are still cash only which add to the nostalgic vibe. Perfect place if you want to enjoy a drink without all the extra frills!“

“Tavern 23 is one of my favorite hole in the wall spots in Poughkeepsie. I’ve been coming here for years now and it’s always great for a lowkey hang. The servers are always attentive and the atmosphere is lively. The menu is ever changing while offering something for everyone. The Beech Brie was the perfect appetizer & I had the Ahi Cobb wrap with their red cabbage slaw and it was delicious! I love ordering food that’s unique but also comforting. Can’t wait to make more memories here!“

“I came in for a quick drink because I was passing by and saw this kid spinning a sign like crazy outside which I must say was something I've never seen before... What a performance. Once inside I noticed they have a pool table, juke box and a dart board... Kelly the bartender was very polite and attentive. She made me the most delicious long island I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. I also ordered the wing zings which are by far the best wings I've ever had in my entire life. I must say I wouldnt go anywhere else for wings not any pizzeria can compare to these wings. Anyways I would suggest Mr. Ps roadhouse to anyone looking for a good drink great food in the best environment.“
