“The vibe and atmosphere of this lovely place is immaculate. Immediately, I felt like I was transported in a Victorian picture book. And the food and tea were positively delectable. The taste of that white chocolate scone with the cream and strawberry jam still lingers on mind.Delia has crafted a delightful little place here and I wholeheartedly recommend.“
“My friends surprised me with a reservation here last Sunday as a early birthday brunch. Because I don't live in the area I was unfamiliar with the place and pleasantly surprised. Very quaint Victorian decor, every color of pastel from floor to ceiling, even the bathroom was decorated like something from another era. The attention was not limited to the decor, as the menu was very much high tea with choices of tea towers (which looked massive) scones of the day with fresh cream and jam, variety of inventive small sandwiches (loved the French onion roastbeef sandwich and Turkey Brie Jam Croissant) and of course- a substantial list of teas from English breakfast and Darjeeling to more exotic teas like chocolate and marshmallow. Our service was excellent and the small place filled quickly as they have limited hours. I bought 5 different hand lotions in the gift shop on the way out I would love to return again as this place is quite unique (though the lack of parking is typical in any busy town on Long Island, especially one featuring many small businesses near the shore) I would love to bring back some of my tea loving friends in the future after this top notch experience.“
“This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! Food ranges from good to exceptional, but their pastries can be hit or miss. Drinks are consistently good in my opinion, my girlfriend is not a fan of their iced coffee which she thinks can be inconsistent. What keeps us coming back is the famous egg sandwich which is pickled to perfection and oh so yum! I don’t think they have enough tables and maybe would benefit from eliminating one or two of the benches to add 2-3 more tables…like a typical coffee house a lot of people seem to work from there and can linger for hours. Service is great. Parking can be tricky when it’s busy, there is a shared lot but it can fill up quickly.“
“Love this little coffeehouse. Cozy and great staff. I didn't love the ham & cheese croissant (greasy and soggy) but I will order something else next time. Coffee was solid. I actually prefer this smaller location over the bigger Bay Shore location. Nice options. I just chose poorly.“
“I Came in and immediately I’m greeted with a tabby cat and room I can see through a window which I can see has a lot of cats. I payed the entrance fee and got a free drink with it. When I entered it smelt very clean and not like what some people referred to. After I got assorted they brought my drink and I started to look at all the cute cats! some were skittish some loved attention and some were sleeping. A very sweet experience and I will definitely be coming back.“
“Ordered a double for tonight’s meal for pick up. Teriyaki Steak, baked potato and Mandarin salad. It was ready right on time. The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients and lots of flavor throughout the meal. Will be coming back!“
“Good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. The French toast, toast with goat cheese, and vegan pancakes were all good. I'm glad the person at the counter let me know that the pancakes would have a different texture because of the almond flour so I wasn't put off by it; the flavor was really good so that made up for them not being fluffy.“
“We had our baby shower here over the weekend, and everything was perfect and delicious. Michaela was amazing and communication was spot on. One minor comment I would like to make, is that a customer should be given a look at the contract before actually leaving a deposit. That’s the only approach I would change, this way you know what you can or cannot do to the space. Other than that, we will be returning there for the amazing food they offer next door.“
“I have been coming to Tiger Lily for about 9 years, and this will always remain one of my favorite cafes. From their smoothies, to their vegetarian sandwich options, and their crab cakes (I'm a pescatarian), I am never disappointed. My boyfriend also loves it as well!Vegetarian options: They have an incredible smoothie bar!“
“We LOVE this little gem! We started with coffee and and tea - everyone loved their specialty drinks. Two of us had the Kristin scramble and it was DELICIOUS! Avocado toast and a wrap were enjoyed! The service was great. There's a wait for a table but definitely worth it!“
“The Mom and Pop restaurant you've been looking for. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming as soon as you enter, to the time you leave. The FOOD! Every time my wife and I come here, the food blows us away! If I could give ten stars I would!!“
“This kitchen and Cafe offers more than a average diner from custom iced coffee's to custom dinner plates. The owner and workers work tirelessly to promote their good food and good work they do serve others. They provide great food, service, and attitudes towards customers. ? % if you live in the area for delivery, or pick up if not local.“
“The food is soooo good every single time. The service is really good which I feel like is missing in so many restaurants lately. I always have such a great time here. I called an hour before wanting to come in with 5 people and they were so accommodating and wonderful.“
“Let's make one thing clear. This is a hole in the wall. But this hole in the wall knows how to make great food! My mom and I decided to try out some place new for lunch this week and through my internet digging I came across the BLT Cafe. After reading some reviews online I had high expectations and they were definitely met! I got a BLT wrap with fries and my mom got some wrap that involved veggies and turkey with mac salad. Both of us were very happy with our choices. The food came out quick and was so delicious! Great service too. My favorite part was that the fries seemed twice fried. They were so crispy and amazing. We will absolutely be back. Perfect spot for comfort food.“
“This cafe blew me away!!!! We stumbled on it when walking down Main Street looking for a breakfast spot. What a gem. The atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming, you are greated and served with such enthusiasm. The food was outrageous!! All the different flavors that worked so well together without competing with each other. I recommend the wild mushroom omelette. It had caramelized onions, mushrooms, and goat cheese. Best omelette I have ever eaten! Will be back again and again.“
“We decided to grab a quick breakfast. They have a full service menu and everything was delicious. Not pictured below or the crepe and The Omelette that we ordered because I forgot to take pictures and a few cool pictures from around the place to eatWe ordered the veggie omelette, and my daughter ordered it without the spinach. The eggs were cooked perfectly and we hopped for more onions but it was still great. My son ordered a Nutella crepe. Out of all the crepe places we've gone to he said this one wasn't his favorite.Vikki ordered a "bebe"it's a Portuguese role with ham and cheese on it. They butter the roles and it was really good.We ordered "galão" . It's a Portuguese latte for a American pallet. It was so good.... And wasn't bitter at all.“
“Stopped for coffee and avocado toast; I was thrilled w/this little café! Fantastic quality food, and super nice people running it. I'm only visiting, but will be back before I leave town --> for sure! Oh, and the coffee was delish!Dietary restrictions: Delicious homemade gf bread!“
“We have been customers of SoBol for so many years! While we have always had good experiences, todays visit was the best! Jennifer welcomed us with a bright smile as soon as we walked in the door. There were a few new items on the menu that we were excited to try. She was kind enough to give us samples to assist us in finding what we wanted to order. We cannot wait to see her again and talk with her! Truly a sweetheart!!!“
“Its a very small and quite eating area. Perfect for a quick breakfast. I had gotten the nutella waffle anf my friend got one of their amazing crepes. Just a fantastic place for a quick biteParking: Not very much on street parki g i do recommend parkimg across the street or in the backKid-friendliness: Wouldn't bring energetic kids that like getting up anf movi g around because of its little roomWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible but it will be hard to move around due to its pack spacing.“
“At some food service places workers can be so mean but when I say this store has some friendly and well rounded people I mean it! When I went I was constantly given compliments and was treated so nicely! I recommend everyone to come to this store. Everything there is so delicious, what is there to lose??Parking: So many open spots!“
“I like this SolBol location. Bowls have always been good, same top notch granola as always, and service has always been friendly, in my experience!A tip: The parking lot can be a little tricky to navigate off Hawkins Ave because of where SolBol itself is tucked away. It is on a corner and there is a traffic light that is right next to the parking lot, but not quite for the parking lot. There is a small auxiliary dirt pullout/lot where a few cars can park on the side of SolBol on Church St. I prefer to use that, but it can get a little messy if there has been some weather. It's worth parking there if Hawkins seems busy. This SolBol isn't very large, but the seating inside seems pleasant. Can't say too much for it since I normally just end up grabbing a couple of açaí bowls to go whenever I come here.“
“SoBol has set the standard in the industry for what to expect in an aćai bowl. Fresh ingredients, rewards programs, smoothies...this is my go to spot for a healthy alternative when I am hungry but don't want to fill up with garbage fast food. Definitely worth a try.“
“A nice spot for tea and/or a meal in the Manor House at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Seating available indoors and out. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Some standard and reasonably-priced food options, great assortment of tea and baked goods; slices of crumb and Kahlua cakes were both delicious!Parking: Plenty of seasonal free/paid parking a short walk from the Cafe at the Manor House.“
