We dined here about 6 months ago and enjoyed everything. Returned tonight and left very disappointed. There was no pricing on the specials sheet, so beware. We were shell shocked when we got the bill. The drinks were overpriced and watered down, my steak was very fatty for what they charged. Appetizer was overpriced for what we got. Waitresses were very friendly but we felt very rushed with service, and noticed those around us were receiving the same.

First thing , I felt like we were being rushed , when my appetizer came out , which I ordered clams , they were real chewy , then dinner comes out and the noodle in my dinner was also chewy and vary oily , way al dante and meat was very fatty , then we get the bill at 190. For 2 people which there were no pricing on the special sheet , never thought it would be this bad , when we were here before , very disappointed

My wife and I had an excellent experience here. Our waiter Joe was extremely attentive and made for a very enjoyable night for us. He was very personable and professional. The food was outstanding, we both really enjoyed our meals. We aren’t from the area but will certainly be back next time we are.

I dined here while visiting lake Placid from multiple recommendations and it did not disappoint. Espresso martinis were excellent! Food was served quickly, hot, and fresh. Our server William was great! Would highly recommend
Mediocre food and service. No traditional Italian dishes not even lasagna. Adjacent table rather loud discussions didn’t help. I won’t be going back.

Visiting Cafe Rustica for the first time was a real treat. I called ahead to check if they had seating for two, and they confirmed. I told them we would be there in 10 minutes and sure enough, when we arrived, everything was set up for us. The staff made us feel like part of the family, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Heather, our server, was fantastic, recommending some truly delicious appetizers and entrées. I can't wait to return! We ordered the prosciutto spedini, meatballs, and ravioli. Definitely come hungry.

It was my boyfriend's birthday and Caffe Rustica was recommended to us by the bartender at our hotel. 1000/10 WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE! Eden, the owner, was also our bartender/ server and she was an absolute gem! Her personality, recommendations, drinks, everything was top notch. There is not a single negative thing I can say about our experience there tonight. Everything we ordered was delicious. Hands down the best dining experience we've had in Lake Placid! We will definitely be going back on our next visit to town!
