Hands down, my new favorite spot. Such a fresh menu, delicious bevies and extremely attentive service. The care that went into each item is clear - didn’t think I could be overly impressed with a wedge salad or boneless chicken wings and these guys somehow brought something basic to remarkable. Well done. Lake Placid is lucky to have this gem!!! Can’t wait for my next stop.

We ordered beef fajita, chicken chimichanga and soup. Food tasted ok. No complain, nothing to rave about either.Best part was no wait time!

My wife and I had several meals at Dunny's this past weekend. We were impressed. The restaurant was clean and neat, the seating was ample, the service was on-the-spot, the food was excellent and the drinks were even better. Nice place if you are in the mood for Tex-Mex but there are plenty of other items even if you are not in the Tex-Mex mood. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Thank you for a delicious dinner !! Dunny's has a new menu and new chef and it's a place that is a MUST to go to !! I had the garlic Jalapeno soup that was better than most soups I have ever tried !! It was creamy but lite and the taste was a spoonful I couldn't get enough of !! Next time I need a large soup spoon for this !!I ordered the Southwest egg rolls. Delicious!! I couldn't finish the 2nd egg roll I was so full !!My hubby got the Chili Con Carne with a corn muffin! Enough for 2 people!I think we will be back with our friends weekly! The Best was the very seasoned Chef Jason coming out to chat with us to make sure we were all happy !!Yes we were all 6 of us !!

My husband and I have enjoyed top authentic Mexican food throughout the US and in Mexico, wow what a treat to enjoy the best Mexican food in a very long time! I highly recommend trying it! Most people do not understand the taste of real authentic Mexican as they think Taco Bell is the way Mexican food is suppose to taste……not even close to the real delight! Once your taste buds have been introduced to the real thing like at Dunny’s it will never be the same! We absolutely will be returning to your restaurant every time we come to Lake Placid! Best authentic Mexican in the north country, hands down! The Courtney’s

Thought food was great, portions were huge. I thought prices were reasonable for the amount of food you got. Place looks great and we will definitely go back. Everyone should experience it for themselves. Support local businesses in this trying time.

First let me say that I am open and willing to try it again as they revamp their menu and offerings and improve service. I understand that it's not an easy time to open a restaurant, let alone one in a spot where there was already a really good one in it's place.Chips and one salsa were good, but not free like they usually are at most Mexican restaurants.House Margarita was horrible. Definitely tasted like a terrible bar drink margarita with sour mix and not a classic Marg. Nothing tasted fresh.Meals were the highlight. Enchiladas were delicious, but not work $20 a piece, though.Service was okay - took a while to get seated, a bit longer to get served and we had a pretty dirty table when we sat. Not sure if this is usually or due to the time we're living in, but they looked empty and plenty of help around.Since we live down the road and it's a hard time to open a restaurant, I'd consider returning if there were better Margarita options, free chips and salsa and they found a way to offer moderate prices or phenomenal food for $20. I just can't see spending $80 for what they offer now. I miss the prior place's chips and salsa and margs.

Dunnys more like dummies they don't know how to cook, the service was horrible the cheese was fake and too much salt. If I could give it 0 stars I would. They must've paid somebody for good reviews. No taste! Not for nothing my blind Aunt cooks better than you.

The atmosphere/vibe is welcoming and relaxing! The margaritas are one of a kind!! The tacos are homemade like a taco Tuesday & the chef was extremely accommodating when I asked for spicy salsa .. personable Staff & again amazing margaritas!! Did I mention the owner is beautiful and queso is on point

Waitress was awesome food was not $19.00 for a beef burrito that was bland and small. And you have to order chips and salsa which were stale, we used to go to despos just for the chips and salsa. My son liked his tacos and fries but way Overpriced.

Great food and drinks!??? The queso is awesome as well as the burgers! Haven’t tried the whole menu yet, but I will. I highly recommend the cactus flower margarita and Dunny’s sangria! The new owners and the staff are great. ??

food was expensive, 17.95 for a burger that was good but not worth that. was excited to try this place... have the nachos... they were decent... disappointed and won't go back... waiter was less then thrilled to be there but did get better as time went on... unfortunately won't be back... wasn't worth the 120.00 I was charged for burgers and fries for our family...
