Galene offers a nice atmosphere in an excellent location overlooking Conesus Lake. The food is great, including dishes such as deviled eggs, red steamed shrimp, Southern Fish Fry, Steak & Frites, and scallops au gratin. The service is wonderful, with attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant also serves top-notch cocktails, including the best espresso martini. Galene has a lovely setting on the north end of Conesus Lake, with a charismatic team of servers. The menu features local favorites, such as Dr. Constantine Frank's Gruner wine, Prince Edward Island oysters, and house-made pastas. The interior is absolutely beautiful and the views are unsurpassed. The kitchen was timely and the menu was lean, though above average. The peel and eat shrimp was great. Shrimp salad was incredible. Fried to perfection! The steak frites was solid. Chef Luke stopped by tables to see if everything was to our liking.
