“Honestly would have preferred to gatekeep but this spot is just too good to not talk about🥹 this comfy lil spot in Oceanside is our new favorite place to get all of the best comfort food: chicken and waffles, smashburgers and fries, and of course, the halal mixed platter 🤤
Aliza at the front counter is so nice and welcoming and the food was so fresh, delicious, and affordable! Totally recommend this spot if you’re in the area or if you’re just looking to eat something delicious!! 100/10 stars!! ⭐“

“I’ve been going here for the past year and I pick up dinner after work and I always have a positive experience here ! The only downside is the parking since it’s still a very popular spot to hangout at but I still give the place 5 stars !“

“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.
I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.
The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

“honestly wasn't to impressed, called for curbside pick up. very long slow line, after getting in had to wait for a spot , the kid went to 2 other cars before he bought us our order. waffle fries where uncooked , they screwed up our nuggets an forgot one of the sandwiches we ordered“

“This place really knows how to do Halal chicken right. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned all the way through—not just on the surface. You can tell it’s made fresh, not rushed. Portions were solid, prices were fair, and the staff was friendly and quick. Easily one of the best fried chicken spots I’ve been to. Definitely coming back.“

“Wonderful guys working here! I’ve been coming here for three years, not only have they been friendly and very good to me, they’ve always been consistent with providing quick and excellent service.
They’re very courteous, always asking if you need anything extra condiments and make sure you don’t leave empty-handed. I usually come here to buy a chicken tenders and fries when I need something quick to eat for great value. On holidays, I would get the Family Meals as my parents would request it!
If you’re by Jamaica, dine or take-out at Tex’s and ask for them to select the big pieces for you, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Last time I made a low rate review of Jollibee at Jamaica because it was not great. This time I'm obliged to make an update. This time they did great. Meals are perfect and the staffs are very polite. The cashier Vincent was patient enough to take my orders. Have a happy new year!“
“Second time ordering from here off of DoorDash and they listen to special notes/ instructions and how you want your food I got the bento box with chicken and shrimp spicy and it is soooo good ! “Over the years, this place was never my first choice for Chinese food. That title went to Wing Wah, my go-to Chinese spot until a few months ago when it suddenly closed down. I only went to this spot a few times over the past few years, usually whenever Wing Wah was closed for whatever reason. Most recently, I came here as this was the closest Chinese food available and man I haven't been here in years. For starters, the place was a lot dirtier/messier looking than I remembered, easily being the most cluttered restaurant I've ever stepped in. The tables up front were covered in boxes so don't expect to be dining in. I got a General Tsao with chicken fried rice for $11 and it came with a soda which definitely alleviated my wallet woes a little bit. Not the best Chinese food I've ever had but it's far from the worst and the portions weren't too bad. The lady behind the register was trying to be as friendly as can be so I can't complain about the customer service.“
