“So, I was temporarily working next door this past week; I’m based in Brooklyn and my commute time by train + bus to Cambria Heights is 1.5-2 hours.

On my first day, my Google Maps search for “vegan” food options in the area yielded absolutely *zero* results. I didn’t really have much time to venture out, so I was sadly forced to live off crappy snack/junk food until I got home that night. Fast forward to day two: I was able to take a leisurely walk at lunch, and on my way back into work, I made a last second impulse decision to check out the juice and supplement store next door.

Turns out “more” means plant-based grocery store!!! Trinity Juices & More is an unexpected vegan HAVEN. Sooo many goodies, including some of my faves (like Field Roast’s egg, cheese, + sausage breakfast sandwich — perfect for a workday morning). So many fresh, healthier options, too, plus even lots of non-food items (e.g., body lotions and scrubs). I was really impressed by the selection. Trinity kept me full and happy all week long at work, and while so far away from home.

My hope is that now, with this review, when someone searches “vegan” in Google/Google Maps, Trinity Juices comes up in their results. :)“

“Subol in Howard Beach is a great spot with delicious food and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and you can tell they use quality ingredients.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the prices felt a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes. Still, the overall experience from the service to the presentation was very enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something flavorful and different!“

I saw the Taiwanese herbalist and after 1 week I got my period and I feel amazing - more energy and balanced. I highly recommend. He only charges $10 for the script and extra for the herbs. Bring cash. Also the receptionist is super sweet and the herbalist is friendly and sweet.“

“Since I’m a student with little time, I quickly brew their goji berries and ginseng tea bags together every week, and I am consistently pleased with Zen’s flavor and quality. The sweetness of their goji berries pairs well with the ginseng flavor. I replaced my morning coffee with this tea, and I have felt much more sustainable energy throughout my day. Not sure if it’s placebo, but the additional boost in focus is also a plus!“

“Organic + natural - preservatives = pricey! Particularly for food you get what you pay for. It’s the difference between Western Beef supermarket and Whole Food. The difference is real food. With that said customer service is everything, especially when there are other options available (although very few vegan/vegetarian options). There is a gentleman and another man (Rasta with the thick accent) who are very pleasant and helpful. I don’t like the buffet style set up because the food dries out or looks old when it is freshly cooked. The non-GMO, supplements and vegan options are plentiful and much appreciated! Lastly the vegan cake selection is excellent and the best vegan cakes I have seen and tasted. There’s always room for improvement. Your efforts to improve the people’s health and well being has not gone unnoticed.“
