“During regular hours this place is busy. A very popular local business serving kosher pizza. I've been here several times. My last visit was last minute just before closing time because I raced there after sitting in traffic due for many hours due to an accident closing off my regular routes used while in Far Rockaway. I was pleasantly surprised that they accommodated my request while having everything just about packed up. And, they were happy to make the pizzas for my children. I knew they were done for the day and were very tired, yet they still took care of us. That speaks volumes about how much they care for their community and the clientele they serve.“

“Hi I don't usually don't do reviews but I had a surprise birthday party for my wife on 3/23 of a party of 20 people and from the beginning dealing with and planning with EVA she went up and above my expectations walking me threw everything from beginning to end I can't say enough of her and Barbara and just wanted to thank Barbara our server handled all of us with no issues at all and all of the staff who helped with everything from Eva, Barbara and would give both of them 10 stars and more and food was absolutely exquisite“

“Ate here with my family and everything was delicious. We did not have reservations, but the hostess Joann was very accommodating and found us a table. She was super kind and gave great recommendations. For apps we had calamari and meatballs. Both good, meatballs melts in your mouth with the perfect dab of fresh ricotta. It was pizza night for us, so we tried three: hot honey pepperoni, vodka sauce margarita, and spicy meatballs with peppers. I'm a pizza connoisseur and it hit all the right taste buds. We ate everything up, I almost forgot to take pics. Overall, I look forward to visiting again and trying other dishes.“

“Recently discovered this pizzeria and have been there a few times. I usually order the Margherita slice, which is delicious. The sauce is flavorful, the cheese isn't overpowering, and the crust has just the right amount of crunch to it. Though I wish the space was bigger, that won't affect me from returning to try other pizza varieties.“

A whole pizza is MASSIVE although quite a thin crust so manageable between a couple of you. They sell it by the slice too. “Food was very delicious and would reccomend. I ate a pepperoni pizza with basil and the Caesar salad, and I have also heard the calamari is very good although I did not get it. The service was normally good, although we did have to wait for water refills for a sizable amount of time. The atmosphere was very loud and since I have hearing aids, the seating was not very friendly but the food and service more than enough to make my review go back to 5 stars.“

I always stop in when I'm visiting my parents, and enjoy the nostalgia of the place that's been serving the best pizza in the area for over 40 years. This visit, I sat on the same stool I always did when I was a child, and ordered my usual slice with extra cheese. “Solid pizza and ingredients. We ordered a Grandma pie and a few slices of white and eggplant+ricotta. The marinara and cheese on the grandma were good. The grandma is also 12 slices which is a nice bump in size compared to other shops which make 9 slices pies. My only knock on their pizza is the crust. It tastes like a low protein/gluten content flour, almost like all purpose or maybe a little cake flour mixed in. So it's not as chewy as I think pizza crust should be. That said, it's still got a solid crispy layer.“

“VERY friendly staff! Sometimes, I can feel a little pressured at pizza places where you order at the counter, but these guys let us take our time. I got the vodka grandma's slice, and it was really good. My sister got the burrata slice, which had a slightly bitter taste to it so she only ate a couple bites - I ate the rest of her slice, and while I could taste the slight bitterness, it didn't bother me too much. My brother-in-law had two cheese slices which he enjoyed, too. But really, the nice guy behind the counter who gave me a free water really solidified the experience for me! “We were attending an event at Queens College and wanted to have a lunch/dinner afterwards, so we searched for restaurants nearby. There were many choices, but I was impressed by the website and menu for Piccolo Sogno. Following the event, joined by four friends, my wife and I made the short drive to the restaurant. It was a hot day, and at first we said we would like to dine inside. But the gracious host said we were welcome to check the outside seating first--and we're so glad we did! In the lovely, covered garden, we comfortably began a great feast! Piccolo Sogno has a nice selection of wines and beers as well as sparkling water. That was followed by delicious Calamari Fritti (done to perfection) and a Hot Antipasto Sampler with more calamari, baked clams, eggplant rolatini and amazing fried shrimp. We followed that with Pollo Alla Francese (some of the best I've ever had), Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne Vodka, and Insalata Dello Chef with chicken. These were served with generous side orders of Caesar salad or pasta. The service was friendly, courteous and at a pace that made for a wonderful afternoon. Even though we were extremely well-filled, we ordered dessert, and are so glad we did! The Limoncello Flute was one of the best desserts we've had, as was the Chocolate Mousse. Some iced expresso (wait until you see the special way it is layered!) and coffee would have been the end of a perfect meal, but then Chef Maurizio himself came out to spend some time at our table. After a nice conversation, he took this selfie shot of us all. As we left, the wonderful staff of the restaurant all greeted us and thanked us for coming. I can't remember the last time that happened in such a warm and spontaneous way. I could not more highly recommend a restaurant. We live in Manhattan and have our choice of some of the best restaurants anywhere--but actually, I look forward to returning to Piccolo Sogno!“

“Romeo’s is a great pizzeria by my couple of visits that I have experienced the only downside of the place is they only accept cash which I believe may stop customers that only carry card.
