“We often go to Valley Harvest when we don't feel like cooking. Great salads and decent sandwiches - the hot dog is good too. The best thing about this place is the ice cream. Micro batches of really unique flavors. A word of caution - it does take a while for the food - lots of locals call ahead for orders or do take-out. Otherwise it's a favorite!“

“I’ve been to South Cairo twice in the last week to visit my mom. Our first visit we ate there. The restaurant was very clean. I had a sandwich on a hard roll with a side of macaroni salad and my mom had the chicken salad wrap special they were offering. Both were delicious. The wrap was so huge she took half of it home for dinner. We were back down today and did take out this time. My mom and I ordered the same things because they were so good the first time. My husband got the Catskill Mtn cheesesteak Philly sub which was huge and he said was delicious. My son ordered the chicken tenders and fries and they were amazing, also. I highly recommend anyone who is in the area to definitely check them out. You won’t regret it!“
